“Will visit again!”

We visited Sanibel Island for our anniversary. We were pleased with the accommodations at the Holiday Inn. We visited several other hotels in the area throughout our stay and noticed that the other hotels all had that "big hotel" feel to them. The Holiday Inn's atmosphere was beautiful and much more intimate than the others and was perfect for a weekend getaway. The hotel seemed a bit old, but it was wonderful, especially for the price.

“great place to relax”

The hotel is located right on the beach. It has a nice pool bar that serves lunch. The hotel provides beach chairs and towels. The beach is not crowded and has lots of shells. You should rent a car to get around the island.

“Not a cookie cutter chain motel”

We were pleasantly surprised to see how well decorated the motel and room were. It was not what one expects from a chain. The staff went out of their way to help and came to our rescue sometimes without being asked. Very lovely grounds and close to the beach.

“Excellent experience”

Holiday Inn Sanibel was a real treat. Staff was friendly and the location was really good, off the beaten path but easy to go almost anywhere. Checkin/out were almost instantaneous. A short 2 minute walk from room to beach, nice pool and very good restaurant right next door. Food was good, fast and staff was very friendly and helpful. We did a lot of beach walking while there, finding tons of shells. A sink is provided for cleaning the shells, effectively keeping the mess out of the rooms. Room was clean, had mini fridge, microwave. We have no negative comments and are hard pressed to come up with any way our experience could be improved, except to stay longer!! We fully intend to return.

“Everyone's nice!”

The hotel & pool were clean and the staff...everyone...was so nice and welcoming. They made us feel like family and went out of their way to make our stay special. Beautiful spot to visit!!
