“Nicest condo building in the area!”

My family has visited Fort Myers Beach for years and years. The Gullwing condos are the nicest we have stayed in by far, and the largest! The kitchen was stocked with necessities. The bayview condo also left us a nice peek of the beach, and at the end of February we could still see the sunset from our balcony, yay! Easy walk out to the beach where we could charge chair rentals to our room. Pool looked fantastic but we only went to the beach. Will definitely go back!

“Great Stay”

This was our first time at Gullwing, we usually stay at Pointe Estero (which is wonderful too). Check-in was fast. I wish I had been informed at check-in that the pool was closed for a few days (only found out by reading a memo in the elevator). However, you could go next door & use Pointe Estero's. Room was very clean & spacious. We will definitely return.

“Would go back in a heartbeat!”

Went for 3 nights to celebrate my girlfriends birthday. Staff at the hotel were very nice and the front desk people were very accommodating and helpful with directions and restaurant suggestions. The room was great, had a view of the bay and the beach. Very roomy with everything we needed. The beach is fantastic, spend the $25 for a couple chairs and umbrella and spend the day out there. Couple good restaurants within walking distance and a Publix about a mile down the road for all the groceries you need. Great trip all around, we will probably go back with her kids in a year or two.

“Best kept secret”

The Gull Wing is a beautiful condo hotel on a most beautiful stretch of wide, clean, white sandy beach at Ft. Myers beach. The condos are large, modern and fully equipped to live comfortably in. Having visited there four times, we feel as though it is our home away from home. There are wonderful facilities there, a pool, a tennis court, exercise room. Each unit is fully furnished to make everyone feel at home. The staff is friendly and very accomodating.

“WE WANT TO LIVE THERE!”

Our 2 bedroom unit on the 8th floor was perfect! Comfy beds, well equipped, pretty, plenty of towels, very clean, etc. Although we went there during the freakish cold snap, we had a lovely time walking the immaculate extensive white sandy beaches, touring, dining in the surrounding restaurants. If there were any drawbacks, it would be that the location is a wee bit further south on the island. Our older daughters may have enjoyed being closer to all the "touristy area", but overall our family of 5 had a fantastic time. We would go back--coming from midwest winters, we'd go back tomorrow!!!

“Great beach at hotel.”

Great beach at hotel. Very romantic at night very few people. My wife and I would like to go back. The hotel is centrally located for going to Naples's or to Sanibel Island. Great tour to look for Dolphin's, on tour go to Useppa Island to see some beautiful flowers also a nice restaurant to dine at. At Naples's the Gulf water is beautiful, also the beach is nice, but expect a lot of people. It was great to come back to our condo after a long day, very homey.

“Great for families”

We were happy with just about everything, including the location of our unit and the fabulous ocean view. We were traveling with our three small children and my husband's mother. The three bedroom unit was everything we could have asked for -- good layout, clean, and well appointed. We ate two out of three meals in the condo each day and thought the kitchen was very well stocked with appliances, pots/pans, plates, utensiles, etc. We also really appreciated the washer and dryer since we spent every day at the lovely pool and on the beach. The pool is convenient and clean, and good for young children since there are large steps to play on. It does take a while to walk to the ocean, but it's a nice trip on powder white sand. The beach seemed friendly and safe. The only complaint I have is that we couldn't access wireless internet from our condo (there is a wireless hotspot out by the pool, but that wasn't always convenient). Overall, it was a great place to stay for young, old and everyone in between. We will return.

“Can't wait to go back!!!!”

This is the second year we've stayed at the Gullwing Beach Resort and we will continue to stay there every year we visit Ft. Myers Beach. This resort is well maintained, has awesome staff, and is great for the family. It is very clean and we couldn't ask for a better place to stay; it's home away from home!

When you pick out a hotel or in this case a condo online you're a little leery. There were plenty of pictures online to look at but still it wasn't like being there to pick it out yourself. Wow was I pleasantly surprised! It was very nice and I hope I can go back again soon. Everything the website offered about the condo it delivered. The room,the pool and the beach were all very clean. The workers at the Gullwing work very hard keeping things clean and in working order.
