“Beautiful Location, will return!”

I was very pleased with my lodging selection, The Dolphin Inn. The canal is beautiful. The pool was large, clean and uncrowded. We enjoyed the patio tables and the gas grill. The Kayaks were nice and we enjoyed our canal adventure in them. We fished from the docks and actually caught fish! The beach is across the street and is wide and uncrowded. We watched dolphins play! We reserved the less expensive room. It was small, but had everything we needed including a fridge, microwave, and a two burner stove. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We can't wat to return.

“you couldnt ask for better staff”

the room was clean and roomy. the staff is friendly and super nice.the back of the hotel you can fish from while the front is across the street from the beach the pool is great and the location rocks was a pleasure will stay there again .

“WOW”

Very nice quiet place . Mywife and I arrived late Thursday evening and a letter welcoming to us was posted outside the office door . After going to our room we noticed how peaceful it was . No loud traffic noise or rowdy guests . The view from our room looking towards the Gulf of Mexico was nice . Very conveniently located , minutes from the pier and tourist shoppiong areas with trolly service to get you there . The rooms were spacious and very clean in appearance , and they smelled just as nice as they looked . I cant tell you how many places weve stayed with mildewy odors to them .( Not for long ! ) The pool was sparkling clear and we hung out there for two of our three days here . Even the two " house Kitty's " were very friendly and one even stood up to greet you every time you walked by and allowed you pet him . The rate we got was very affordable , and we will definately return as soon as we can . All in all , they get 5 out of 5 stars from us !

“Very quiet”

Very nice staff, just too quiet for my taste. Pool not open from dusk to dawn. That was a disappointment. Rooms very old, need some upgrade. Beds were very comfortable. No sheets or blankets provided for pull-out sofa. But, overall, a fair hotel. Not bad for the money.

“LOOKING FORWARD TO RETURNING”

Looking forward to returning. Owners truly show how much they care about the Dolphin. Local people have good things to say about the Dolphin. Room was very clean and well maintained. Older furniture but well kept. Mattress and pillows very comfortable. Lovely landscaping . Easy access to beach. Dolphin has a very nice pool

“We loved this place!”

Can't say enough good things about this place! Our room was very comfortable for 2 people. Bed wasn't as firm as I like, but good enough for 1 wk. Beautiful location, beach across the street, movie theater next door, lots of restauraunts and pubs, and the most beautiful and cleanest pool I have seen in years! Everyone was friendly and accomodating, and our room was immaculate! We will be back next year, for sure!

“The Beach's Best Bet”

Our stay there was great.....Old Florida type accomodations....slightly worn furnishings,lived in, clean,no smell in the room....cute kitchen, full refridg, A/C was cold....owners were friendly and helpful. We had a room poolside, and to our surprise, not noisy. Pool was very clean and 'round the back was the Bay with a dock and lounge chairs and tables...beautiful. Our bed was a bit too soft for us, but no matter.......Restaurants around are a bit pricey for what you get....Yo' Yo' Taco...forget it. Tasteless. One night we ate at Nervous Nellie's.........the menu is huge, and the prices are steep....I wanted a nice fish meal and ordered the snapper with crab stuffing......my husband got an oyster basket w fries, we had no appetizers, nothing extra....we had a beer and an iced tea, and our bill was $ 47. Not worth it.. not the food or the service. We will never go there again, a bad choice. Our best meal was the fresh fish we bought on Pine Island and took to our hotel and put on the 'barbie. We will go back to Dolphin Inn anytime......loved it!

“Great Location”

For our first trip to Fort Myers Beach we couldn't have asked for a better location! Convenient to restaurants, the beach, and things to do without being in the center of everything. The beach was a quick easy walk across the street. It was a great place to relax in the morning or evening as half the rooms open up to the bay and the others are poolside. Plenty of comfortable seating so you feel like you have your own piece of paradise right there.

“Will go back there!”

We had a great time at the Dolphin Inn, we were a company of 10 Adults and 2 kids and the rooms were perfect! The pool was outstanding-with plenty of pool toys/ floaties for kids and adults;). The hotel owner was very friendly. Will go again.
