Chloe's Seafood & Steakhouse - Indoor dining with panoramic views of the gulf. Dinner favorites include fresh seafood, steaks, and pastas. Open for breakfast, dinner, and Sunday brunch.

Chloe's Lounge - Specialty drinks and a spectacular view of the sun setting over the Gulf of Mexico. Appetizers, full menu available. Occasional live entertainment. Open from early evening until late evening.

“Loved Ft. Myers!”

We spent our Honeymoon at the Diamondhead Beach Resort and couldn't be happier! From the moment we arrived til the moment we left we had nothing but outstanding customer service and making wonderful memories! Fantastic location, fantastic staff! On-site food was great! Cabanas had great food right next to the pool and beach! We also ordered a pizza from Chloes which was fantastic, although our visit the following night to the restaurant was disappointing and I wish we would have looked at the menu beforehand! (May not be a bad idea to include a copy of the menus in each room). We also took advantage of the offer to tour the recently renovated rooms they have turned into time share condos and received a $100 resort credit in return! The lady who gave us the tour was very friendly and provided great information while keeping things very low pressure! Our room was cleaned daily, providing fresh clean towels AND beach towels. Highlight of our trip was the Dolphin Waverunner Tour provided by the rental company on-site at Diamondhead. Our guide was AWESOME and we had a blast! Upon arriving we requested an upgrade to the Ocean Front Suites and got a great deal at $25 a night extra. The view was incredible and well worth the money!!! Hope to be back soon!

Area recommendations

Diamondhead has a fantastic central location in the Ft. Myers beach area and is close to all the action! We also enjoyed visiting Sanibel Island to see the lighthouse as well as Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge. November was a great time of year to visit as the weather was still pleasant and avoiding the crowds!

“very good hotel on the beach”

Diamonhead was very clean and has a great location on Ft. Myers Beach. The staff, without exception, was friendly and very helpful. We will go back there whenever we go to Florida.

“They did not change the sheets”

It was ok but not ok no store to buy few things such as water and.....They are trying to sell timeshare.

“Perfect for R & R”

This was exactly what we were looking for. Nice surroundings, nice room and very relaxing. Loved watching the dolphins every morning.

“Nice, but ....”

Expedia featured this hotel as VIP access... they did not offer an upgrade and when I inquired they told me they could for an extra $60 a day !!! no great bargain... and they charge for eveything including the beach chairs for the beach... $25/day per person !!

“Fort Myers Beach BEST HOTEL...MUST STAY HERE!”

I grew up in Naples, FL, moved back to Chicago in June 1997, got married in June 2010, and this year wanted to take my husband to show him the area I grew up. I highly HIGHLY recommed this hotel...it's in the perfect spot....we went all over to Naples, Bonita, and to Sanibel Island, which is another must see, from this hotel to Sanibel Island it is exactly a 15 minute drive!

“Our favorite hotel”

“Going Back For A Winter Vacation”

With it being off seanson when we went it was a great place to relax and recharge. The one thing that really got annoying was: Parts of the hotel are being converted to a time-share. It seemed like for the first 4 days of our stay there was someone asking kept if we wanted to set an appointment for their sales pitch.

“It was a really comfortable experience”

We enjoyed staying in the hotel because it was calm along with the rest of the neighborhood, and the ocean view was perfect. My children liked being able to enter the ocean whenever they could and playing in the hotel's pool each evening after a trip around the place.

Area recommendations

Naples, because it has nice beaches and excellent restaurants in tourist zones.

When to go

i think it would be better to go during the winter when the temperatures are a bit lower, nonetheless we still enjoyed the summertime.
