“Very Nice”

“BEAUTIFUL, charming, quiet setting.”

I live in Kissimmee, Florida and go away for many weekends. Always looking to stay at different locations in Florida so stayed in many hotels. This is one of the prettiest places i have stayed. The room had a fully equipped kitchen, cute balcony, and faced the canal. It had everything we needed. The motel is beautiful and the staff were very nice. Will defintely stay here again.

“CHO to Cape Coral”

We stayed at this hotel because it was conveniently located and one of the few on a canal. It was nice to sit on our balconey over-looking the canal. The hotel room is average. Beds were actually very comfortable. It was also nice to have a kitchenette with a refrigerator. They also offer complimentary internet. The continental breakfast was a little weak with oatmeal and pre-packaged pastries. We were satisfied and will most likely stay there again once we go back down to Cape Coral in pursuit of a new home.

Dining

Del Prado Steakhouse was very pedestrian re: steaks. We expected a better steakhouse. We went to Charleys at Fort Myers Beach and had a great CAB steak.

“It's OK”

There was almost no one staying at the motel when I checked in, nor were there any scheduled arrivals during my two night stay. I was put in a room overlooking the parking lot, and nothing else. The reason I stayed at the Casa Loma was for the waterview and waterfront location. Although there were many, many waterview rooms available, I was told I would have to pay $ 10 per night extra to have one of those rooms, despite the fact that they were mostly all vacant. I consider this very poor customer service and very poor customer appreciation. I won't be back.

“Internet speed is the only the neck”

Only thing I felt disappointed was the free wifi network in the room. When other guests were using the internet the speed went down too slow. Other things were satisfactory. There were fridge, kitchen, coffee maker, etc.

“Pleasant stay at Casa Loma”

My family and I recently stayed at Casa Loma and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel room was dated but it was sufficient for our needs and was clean. The outside grounds of the hotel however were what definitely made our stay. The pool was very clean and inviting to go in. The dock area offered a nice view of the canal and the sunsets were beautiful. The hotel staff was very pleasant and the front desk was very helpful. They addressed any need or concern we had promptly. My family and I would stay here again.

“would for sure go back!”

as I had read..this motel was kind of dated..but very convenient and friendly. The bed was comfortable as stated and the pool looked great. Would stay again. The kitchenette was a great plus!
