“Excellent hotel; shame no kettle”

This hotel is excellent. That goes for the room, the service, the food - everything. The only thing that spoiled it was the lack of a kettle with which to boil water. The suite was provided with a kitchen with everything you'd need, including tea bags, but the only way to boil water for a cup of tea was by using a saucepan or the microwave, both unsatisfactory! On enquiring at the front desk, their solution was to use the filter coffee jug and hotplate but that would not have boiled water in under an hour, if then. That was not a helpful reply. "Spoiling the ship for a ha'peth of tar!", but such a small criticism indicates how good the rest of it was.

“Best choice especially for long-stay”

Excellent staff support and cares. The location is excellent: easy access to NYC and many restaurants for breakfast and dinner.

“Not satisfactory at all”

I reserved a non-smoking room with the river view, but they put us in a street view smoking room. The rep at the check in desk was not kind and I thoght he is the owner of the hotel. the room condition was all right, but they didn't explain that there was no bath tub. Any way, I'll never go back to that hotel again and i score them 30 out of 100

“Great suite hotel”

I loved this hotel. I stayed in a King suite with a Jaccuzi bath, it was heaven. The breakfasts were included and they were great, as well as dinner Mon-Thurs. There was a free shuttle to the NY Ferry and anywhere locally and it was very well done. The staff was friendly. Even with the hotel pretty full, I felt well taken-care of and that there was enough to go around for everyone.

Area recommendations

My daughter enjoyed Hoboken-a quiant little town that has that bakery that's on TV. I like the walk along the Hudson that's just by the hotel. All the earteries on the same strip are good!

“Great Place”

The hotel was great. It's in a good location with excellent shopping restaurants and even a nearby jogging path along the Hudson. We really enjoyed staying there. The only suggestions I could make was I didn't like the comforters. They had the padded part tied to the decorative part which twisted up during sleep. We untied them.

Area recommendations

We were there to visit extended family but we did do some business while we were there. The lobby is suitable to meet both.

“Excellent place to Stay close to the Big Apple”

Overall, ths is a great hotel to stay close to NYC and away from the noise. The service was excellent and the rooms are perfectly equipped.

“Prima hotel met goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding”

Het hotel is een prima uitvalsbasis voor een bezoek aan Manhattan ondanks dat het in New Jersey is gelegen. Met de dichtbijzijnde ferry (hotel ligt aan de Hudson, net aan de overkant van Manhattan) ben je in een half uur in midtown Mahattan. Het hotel heeft ruime nette kamers en is boven een leuk winkelcentrum gelegen met een aantal leuke winkels en een paar prima restaurants. Omdat het hotel aan de Hudson ligt biedt het tevens een mooi uitzicht op de skyline. Al met al biedt het hotel ruime kamers voor een betere prijs dan de hotels op Manhattan. Dit verschil is de reistijd naar de manhattan meer dan waard.
