Special Check-In Instructions

From December 4 to December 9, the Hillsboro bridge will be closed from 7 PM to 6 AM. Guests coming from the Fort Lauderdale and arriving after 7 PM should exit on Atlantic Boulevard to A1A, then go left (north) to the Wyndham Deerfield Beach Resort. Guests coming from the Palm Beach should exit on Palmetto, go east to A1A, and then turn right (south) to the resort.

“Perfect beach location”

We were really happy with the hotel in general. We chose to upgrade a rear facing room to a beach facing room. Good decision for the extra $20 per night. Beach view was spectacular, rear view looked out over a little bit shabby neighborhood. Room was immaculate and beds exceptionally comfortable. Restaurant downstairs was great, good food and live entertainment, although some of the staff could have been a bit friendlier. Overall, I would say the hotel was better than we anticipated.

“Great hotel”

Great location, only few steps to the beach. Our room was clean. Restaurant downstairs very nice with good food and live music. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

“was there before when it was howard johnsons , much nicer now”

tremendous location, clean rooms, better gym then before ,staff tremendous they need to have water bubbler in the gym, beds very comfortable. micro wave ovens would also b agood idea. all in all great place.

“Great Weekend Getaway”

We were looking for a reasonably priced hotel on the beach in the area and found the Wyndham for a long weekend getaway. The hotel staff is great, the room was clean and comfortable, and the Patio Grill and Bar was a good place on a rainy Sunday to relax, have a drink and watch football. Parking is a little odd and located just around the corner from the hotel, but the walk is about a half block. The description says across the street from the beach, but it's more like a driveway and a very nice stretch of beach. There are a few restaurants within a couple of blocks of the hotel. Main roads are close and the A1A is right outside for a jaw dropping ride past all the beachfront mansions and condos.

When to go

October was a great time to go, not hot and humid with a nice breeze. We ended up having a raining weekend, but it was still a nice trip.

Getting around

If you fly to the area, renting a car is a must. There are restaurants nearby, but a limited selection so it will make it easier to expand dining and activity choices.

Must see

Take a drive on the A1A between Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach. Amazing homes along the drive.
