“Comfortable, small hotel”

Small hotel, well maintained, friendly and helpful staff. Direct on beach and staff set up chairs and umbrellas when needed. Small pool sheltered from the sea winds. Grill restaurant with terrace overlooking the sea. Elegant restaurant in next door hotel. Reasonable prices. If without a car, location was isolated without a sea promenade. We used it for a few days before and after a cruise. Be sure to get an ocean view room.

“A pleasant surprise and amazing value”

What a great surprise. My girlfriend and I were together for a business trip I was taking. I was expecting a hotel on the beach, but when we walked into to the room we were blown away. First we were upgraded to a King Bed Suite, then when we walked into the room, we went to the sliding glass door we were amazed at the view directly onto the ocean and we were very close to the surf. It was wonderful. The restrurant was great and the server was amazing, but the second day she remembered how I took my coffee and that my girlfriend drank iced tea and not coffee. We are both looking forward to coming back to this hotel.

“Perfect!”

We stayed here for one night coming back from Costa Rica and were delighted to be upgraded to a suite on the sixth floor. It was AWESOME! This is really a small boutique hotel. After a long day of travel, we enjoyed sitting on the patio ouside the hotel bar and listened to the waves to unwind. Then, even though the kitchen was closing, they made us delicious cheeseburgers with yummy home-made chips to take to our room. The unique and maybe best attribute of the hotel is that ALL the rooms face the ocean - and you are RIGHT ON THE BEACH. Overall, it was a wonderfully romantic end to a great vacation.

“A wonderful vacation at Sun Tower Hotel and Suites”

We stayed at the Sun Tower from 2/5/12 to 2/14/12. Of the many hotels we've stayed in over the years, this hotel had the friendliest and most helpful staff. We had a lovely suite overlooking the ocean and the hotel itself was in a good location. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

“Honeymoon Getaway”

We spent 9 days at the Sun Tower for our Honeymoon and absolutely loved it. the rooms were big and the staff was over the top on friendliness and attending to all our needs. the view was amazing as well. We were suppose to leave on a sunday and our flight ended up getting cancelled due to a hurricane, so the sun tower gave us a great rate so we could stay another night and not have to spend time finding another hotel. The hotel was on the smaller side, but i would take that over a big hotel any day. our beach and pool was private, and with the hotel being smaller the pool and the private beach was never over loaded with people. we are defiantly planning a vacation here next year and we will be staying here again, without looking for other hotels. i see other reviewers said the decor needs to be updated, but i did not find that the case at all in our suite, it was all beach and nautical themed which was perfect being right on the beach. i would highly recommend this to everyone!

Excellent staff and service, location was great. Very hospitable! Even had a fantastic restaurant in the back with a perfect view over looking the ocean.

“Great little spot right on the sand”

Came here at the recommendation of a friend, and I am so glad I stayed here! This was my first time to Ft Lauderdale, so I didn't know what to expect. The rooms were very clean, well kept, and comfortable. The staff was so friendly and helpful! Being right on the beach was such a plus and the view from our private balcony was amazing! Definitely a great place for a quick romantic getaway.

“Very Nice Room, Excellent Value”

I'm giving this hotel 5s across the board although I'm not really specifically obsessing over each of the criteria. It was a very nice room, the hotel is in a very nice location, the staff are very personable. Considering all that it was almost cheap at the price.

“Great hotel for private beach”

My husband and I stayed there almost a week. We really enjoyed the atmosphere in the hotel. All of their stuff is super nice and ready to do anything you need. They are very helpful not only on their stuff,but also entertainment for all of their guest. They gave us names of the best sea food restaurants in town,as well as places to see... Rooms were very comfortable,except bathroom( you really don't spend enough time to care too much about it.) Beach was awesome... very private with free umbrellas and chairs.... Very nice location,close to everything.......Only bad thing,even we payed for internet,but still couldn't get good enough service to load any page for a minute..It would come,but get lost very soon ..I recommend not getting internet in your rooms,it is just waste of money. Maybe it was our six floor thing,I am not sure. Anyway, we would go back. Also,last thing- their restaurant is very good. We ate there three time and I wish we had more. Anything we ordered-was great. Love it.
