“Best place to stay in Ft. Lauderdale!!”

This was my second stay at the Riverside and both times, they exceeded my expectations. I stayed in the Tower with a balcony and two queen beds. We had views of the city and intercoastal which were beautiful. The hotel has an ice skating rink next door for the months of November to early January and my son skated there every day....it was the highlight of his trip. We ate at the Indigo in the hotel and food was great. We also ate across the street at Cafe de Paris and we loved their fixed priced dinners....fabulous. The hotel is warm and inviting with a wonderful staff. I can't wait to go back!!! I miss it already and I just left this morning.

“Comfortable Stay, Enjoyable surrounding”

It is all about what you want. We took the upgrade for the new rooms, very large, good wifi. Hotel it self is in the city center, a good 30 minutes walk to the beach, $10.00 by taxi, or take the hop on hop of bus for just 50 cents a person. Plenty of restaurants, little boutiques and beautiful people. What else do you want. Swimming pool is not large, but very quiet, with again internet access and clean. Lovely "room" service at the pool.

Area recommendations
If you like the beach / animation for the kids, stay away from this hotel. Just to far and not convenient.

“Surprised”

The hotel is beautiful in it's original 1930's charm and in a great location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had one of the original rooms that were built in the 1930's (cheaper rates). Not very quiet - tiled hallways aplify sound from below stairs and the constant hum of refrigerator units outside the window were quite noticeable. The carpet in the room was filthy - needed a shampooing.. No microwave or refrigerator in room due to shortage of electrical outlets, but there was a mini-bar and safe. Overall, it was a pleasant stay for the rate.

“Great stay at Riverside”

Nice clean hotel, just steps away from restaurants, shopping, and night life. It's close to the airport & about a 5-10 min trolley ride to the beach. The staff were nice & friendly. I would definitely stay here again and I've already recommended it to friends.

Outdoors or beach
The beach was amazing! Beautiful, clean and so much fun.

“River Side Confort”

The Riverside Hotel was a pleasant stay. My wife and I stayed there for 4 days. The staff was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. I wanted to venture out and experience Fort Lauderdale Florida. The staff at the front desk gave us some helpfully starts as to where to eat. I would definitely recommend this hotel to someone. Lastly my only hangup that I had with the room was there wasn't a flat screen television. Other than that our stay was great.
