Rooms

With the exception of the European rooms, all other rooms are equipped with a refrigerator and microwave. Additional refrigerator or microwave rental fee applies if delivery for installation in the European room.

The Beachcomber Resort is comprised of 3 distinct sections; the main 9 story hotel tower with interior corridors, two-two story exterior corridor buildings that surround our second pool area, and in the Villa section where our 1 and 2 bedroom Villas are located.

Cooked-to-order breakfast served at the Ocean Grill Restaurant - Available daily (surcharge). Enjoy a wide selection of full American breakfast offerings that include eggs, omelets, bacon, ham, sausage, pancakes, and waffles as well as breakfast wraps, steak & eggs, and the resort's signature Eggs Benedict along with freshly brewed coffee and Florida orange juice. Children's Menu also available.

Ocean Grill Restaurant - Overlooking the main outdoor pool area, gardens, and fountain with floor to ceiling picture windows, this casual restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Indoor and outdoor patio dining available.

Ocean Grill Lounge - Our cocktail lounge located off the hotel lobby and adjacent to the restaurant. Happy Hour from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Piano Bar style entertainment from Thursday to Saturday evenings, seasonally from December to mid May. Open December thru mid May.

Tiki Bar - Poolside patio bar serving a selection of tropical frozen drinks, cocktails, cold beers and soft drinks. Enjoy appetizers, sandwiches, wraps, and hand tossed pizza served at our poolside patio area or on the beach.

Room Service is available beginning at 7 AM daily for breakfast; an all-day dining, and pizza.

“A few snags but a great time!”

We were late checking in so there was only one oceanfront room left and that was first floor. The toilet had leaked so the bathroom floor was wet so we were moved to a different room. The next day we were moved to a fifth floor oceanfrontroom which had a beautiful view. The TVs are not HD and limited channels but the scenery was fantastic. The pool was very clean and warm. The maintenance technician fixed our slow-draining tub promptly and the remainder of our stay was stress free.

“Nice family hotel.”

Clean. Accomodating staff. All help are very friendly. Restaurant on site, very good food.

The main pool area has a tiki bar with waite service. Lots of lounge chairs inside wind shield and outside facing the beach.

“good hotel for the price, especially for being right on the beach”

The Beachcomber is not a very ritzy hotel, but it is nice enough. Just a few steps from the room to the beach, two nice pools. I only ate breakfast at their restaurant, the breakfast was good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only real negative I thought was the television in the room. A cheap old television with a terrible picture. I like to watch a little television in bed once in a while so that was the one thing I wish they would change.

I drove up to Palm Beach and really liked it there, I may stay there next time.

“loved it would go back any time”

My room was wonderful, the staff was friendly, and my view was WOW. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. They were just finishing up the remodeling.. What a great job they did. If you love historic old buildings with great architecture you will enjoy your stay here.

“Very nice place for families in Pomano Beach”

Very accommodating and friendly staff. Good value. Reconstruction was going on at the time, so hard to tell end result. Rooms of nice size. We used three different types of units, all with small kitchenettes. Could use firmer mattresses. Ocean-view rooms had a very nice view of ocean and pool below.

“Just OK”

Booked it for the convenient access to the beach, which was the only redeeming quality of this hotel. The "heated" pool was cold every day with the promise from the staff that it would get warm in a couple of hours. It never did. Many parts of the hotel were all under construction at the same time with hammering and sawing noises beginning early in the morning and lasting all through the day, and sounding like someone was pounding on the wall of our hotel room. Debris from the construction rained down on the pool area all day long. The elevator was downright scary. The hotel room itself was comfortable and the cleaning staff did a great job, but there were weird things wrong with it, like ceiling panels missing or falling down, big holes in the plaster in the bathroom area, a toilet that sometimes didn't flush and the water ran in the toilet quite often. The desk staff was nice enough, just not quite a first-rate experience.
