“Not a vacation hotel - but...”

If you want a clean, quiet, low cost place to simply get some sleep and check your email before heading on~ this is it. An older one, it shows its age, however it was clean and everything worked. I was there on a chilly evening and there were plenty of blankets and the heater worked well. One nice thing is as the rooms aren't connected by an indoor hallway, my queen NO SMOKING actually was no smoking, I didn't gag from smoke coming down the hall. Another plus was unlike other newer hotels on the same exit, this one had wi-fi. The only draw back is the continental breakfast. In the office/lobby ~ nothing to write home about. However if you are like me, halfway on a long trip - and would rather get up and drive an hour or so before stopping to get out of the car and sit down to a real breakfast a bit later, then it's really no problem.

Rooms dated but overall ok. Limited restaurants in area.

Needs wi-fi internet to get a better rating. Staff bent over backwards for us and offered a nice place for a economical price.

Not much to be said about such a small town. was pleased with the room.

“No frills, but clean and comfy”

This is not a luxury hotel and doesn't try to be, but it's a clean and comfortable place to spend the night. Carpet and sheets seemed clean, no smell in my nonsmoking room. There was a fridge and microwave but I didn't use them. Everything worked. Breakfast the usual low-end motel breakfast--cereal, white bread, donuts, coffee. I always long for some form of protein or at least something whole-wheat, but at this price range that's rare. Area seemed safe enough--right off the Interstate. As a single woman traveling alone I was a little nervous about some guys sitting outside their room and drinking, but they didn't bother me. My only real disappointment was that the Internet was out when I got in late. The guy who usually handles this was out of town, but the woman at the desk spent a long time on a help line and never could get it fixed. That could happen to anyone, so I don't consider it the hotel's fault, though I hope it's fixed now. All in all, this motel offers a nice respite from a day of highway driving. Not the Ritz, but a nice place to sleep.

Was a roof over head -safe from Tornado's. Office staff was nice.

“Average Motel”

Motel just barely ok. Swimming pool small. Lack of eating facilities in local area.

“Nice staff but old buildings”

not recently renovated, rooms outdated. Clean enough and beds comfortable.

“Not impressed”

No bar soap AT ALL!! I realize the economy is not good but no soap?? Of course, you are undressed and shower-bound before you realize this. How cheap!! I consider a sliver of soap an essential.
