The first room assigned had not been cleaned from the last customer. Trash in the room and empty beer cans in the refrigerator. The second room assigned was barely better. Very poorly run hotel. I will not use Best Western in Forney, TX ever again!

Had to get 3 different rooms because the shower heads didn’t work and the water was not hot. Breakfast was terrible both days, there wasn’t even any meat the second day!

The chair that accompanied the desk was broken. It sat at it's lowest point and when I raised it to a comfortable level, it sank down again to it's lowest level. And no, I am not a fat hippo. I weigh 145 lbs. so it wasn't a weight issue. There were children running all over that hotel playing in the elevator, spilling drinks on the floors in the hallways and being loud. It was not a comfortable stay at all. The door card (key) didn't work, I had to go down again to the front desk to change it or get it activated. Not good!!

Great place to get away
Everyone was so nice to us. We just needed to get away from the kids (grown ones), and relax to ourselves and that’s exactly what we got. Very quiet and peaceful stay, I didn’t have my confirmation with me but the desk person pulled me up in a flash and gave me my room keys with no dilly dally.

Property needs some updates. Stains on the tile in the bathroom and bed sagged a bit in the middle. You can hear everything through the walls and ceiling. Passable for what we needed, I suppose, but I probably won’t stay again.

The only thing I can see improvement on is the breakfast layout and reducing the reaching over food setup. I worked in hospitality, best western, and that’s just not a sanitary layout.

What happened to housekeeping?
It was a disabled room. A few of the bathroom floor tiles were loose. Housekeeping didn’t take all of our garbage nor did they make our beds. And when housekeeping left they didn’t close our door all the way ( we weren’t in the room at the time so anyone could have walked in and took our things)

Well my car got vandalized.. when I call the police a week earlier cause of a suspicious car moving my around my truck in the back parking lot they never showed up and they wouldn’t even do a report over vandalism… they said we will put some notes down so you can contact your insurance.. the room key had to be rekeyed everytime I walked out of the room and the girls at the front desk literally had me me go go up and down to the 3rd floor 5 times cause she wasn’t even trying to key the card.. the people are rude and inconsiderate

I couldn’t find the Wi-Fi for the hotel and my computer and phone was hacked there.. staff did help and got lucky restarting my phone .. I have people stalking and harassing me that were staying there as well.. Forney police were no help I reported to them a week ago some car was diving around behind hotel where I was parked and an officer didn’t come out to do a check.
