I love staying in Formentera and this hotel is perfectly placed for the beach, it's between two great places to eat and drink. Gecko Beach has great food, cocktails and evening dining with a fabulous sunset and Lucky Bar is perfect for lunchtime cerveza and nibbles, plus sun-loungers to die for...
Quite a walk from the Reception office to the apartment.
Had to do lots of stairs and walking through the untamed
land and pathways for 10 minutes to arrive
Very quaint. My space was upstairs. Very private.
Caught cool breezes with great open air windows. Easy walk to Las Illetas Beach.
Wonderful outdoor restaurant as you arrive at the beach.
Bought the SeaCat Ticket at the airport. 42Euros = Round Trip from Ibiza. Boats run til 9:30 at night to
return to Ibiza.
We (Me and my Husband) had the BEST "holiday" so far.
The staff was great! The food was delicious.
The hotel is beautiful. We highly recommend to our family and friends.
The beach is wonderful. So BEAUTIFUL!
Hope we can have same holiday next year!

"Lovely hotel in nice grounds with cliff-top pool"
We stayed during mid-October so the hotel was relatively quiet, which was nice. It was never a problem securing a good spot in the covered outdoor restaurant and only ever 4 or 5 people around the pool at any one time. Pool has been refurbished and has new smarter chairs and loungers (rattan, as supposed to the white plastic ones in the photos), so that was a pleasant surprise. Wireless in rooms was on and off, but was not really a big issue for us. It worked in the restaurant and around the pool fine. Great views of sea, 15-20 minute walk into Pujols over the clifftop, food was really nice and they also do packed lunches for free (basic chorizo sandwich, fruit, biscuits and bottle of water). We walked to Migjorn and back one day (around 7 miles in total, took about 1.5 hours each way) and also hired bikes to cycle all the way to the end of the island and back. 3 days and nights was about the right amount of time for Formentera.
"Apartments in pine forest close to stunning beach"
I can't fault this hotel - everything was perfect from start to finish. The accomodation is basic but we only used it for showers & to sleep in & it was more than adequate for both these things. The area is truly stunning with the apartments set in acres of shady pine forests. Depending on the situation of your apartment you may have to walk quite a distance down to the restaurant, pool, snack bar & beach but we didn't mind as we're fit & happy to get the exercise. There was a quieter pool & snack bar nearer the reception area where they also had a fantastic theatre for shows in the evening.
The animation team were the best I have ever seen. They worked tirelessly from morning to late evening to provide a varied entertainment programme for everyone of all ages. The shows they put on in the evenings were of a very high standard. The team were really friendly without being intrusive.
The food in the hotel was also of a very high standard - HUGE choice every meal - great quality of meat & fish etc. The staff worked so hard to clear & reset tables for you as quickly as possible.
The coffee served in the snack bars was filter coffee with hot milk as served in Costa/Starbucks - in china cups- couldn't believe it! Also the choice & quality of ice creams was great.
My husband & son went out on bikes a few times which were provided free by the hotel. The roads are very busy so not for the inexperienced. Beaches close by are stunning with nice boarded walkways to get to them.
