"Only a 3 review on the surrounding area because it was out of season, am absolutely positive it would be vibrant in high season."

"My love for this place is in the details and all the small things. Initially I was just looking for a place closest to nice beaches. I did not realize that for such a small island, a car or scooter would be necessary, but it is. I paid a lot more than I normally would for a hotel, but once we got there, we realized, it was really a gem of a find, and, to us, it was worth spending the extra money. The downside was that this hotel seems to cater to very wealthy, unfriendly, snooty and entitled Italians and Spaniards. It is definitely not a place to be social or make new friends. The room itself was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was beautiful and we absolutely loved getting up every morning and coming down for breakfast. The pool also was gorgeous, heated to the most perfect temperature, and not heavily used. The bar, cleaning, restaurant, spa and front reception Staff were so lovely and professional. We got great massages at a very good rate, and I would highly recommend the spa at this hotel. I also loved the design and architecture of this hotel. Very clean and modern. Even futuristic. this island is slow paced, quiet, and I hope it remains this way and that the protected areas remain respected and protected. It’s definitely not for everyone, but we loved it."

"Nice property right on the water with beautiful sunsets. The restaurant is very good too. The location is very close to the ferry port, so you can drop off your luggage and start exploring the island."
