"A pleasant surprise! Spacious room; good location"
The hotel is small and cozy with a very friendly and accommodating staff. We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious our room was. My wife insisted on leaving the chamber maid an extra large tip for how well she cleaned and serviced our room. The desk staff was so helpful with recommendations, suggestions, and aid when a prearranged ride to a Tango dinner show didn't arrive, that I left a generous tip for them to share, a rare thing for me to do. The hotel could not be better situated in the center of the city and one a pedestrian-only shopping street/promenade: famous Florida Street. The only downside, the only downside is that taxi's can't get closer than one hundred yards to the hotel's entrance. We don't have many, if any, Howard Johnson Hotels in the USA anymore. My wife and I were a little skeptical about the brand before we arrived in Argentina, but we found that the brand is well known and well respected throughout Argentina. We would recommend the HJ-Florida Street, Buenos Aries to anyone.
"It is a very comfortable , clean and safe hotel,"
What a nice hotel with good staff, the hotel is at the heart of the city few blocks from the obelisk. The area is very safe . Try the French Brioche Restaurant. The pastries are to die for. If you arrange your trip there's a tourist agency across the hotel or the hotel staff arranges it for you .
Nice place, nice people, very close to places you must visit, 3 blocks away from subway (subte) station, 2 blocks far from main pedestrian street Florida, take care at night (after 8 pm).
Breakfast was included in my package, it was OK but it could be better, if yoy spend more than 3 days you can get bored of the same breakfast. Prices are OK. Hotel People was very helpful, they provide you with information of any kind to solve your inquiries.
I got a tripple room (#116) it was good enough. At night I got some food in the restaurant and was OK also.
A very pleasant and comfortable stay. Located within walking distance to big shopping areas, university, historic sites and entertainment theatres etc to visit. Hotel staff very accomodating and helpful. Please learn some Spanish prior to travelling to Argentina as very few people speak English. In this hotel it was helpful to find staff speaking some English.
It is small hotel in Downtown Buenos Aires! Very clean! I liked the bathroom ! Good location! I am going to go back! I am Mexican ! We prefer alway clean places and safe!
I travel around the world so place to stay it is very important for me!
