Staff was excellent! Patrick was the evening Manager and he was excellent! The grounds were very well manicured and the environment is relaxing. The one thing that I think would be helpful would be to upgrade the bathrooms. However, it did not affect our stay. I cannot wait to go back!

Was a bit disappointed based on the price. You could see light around the door of our room. The shade on the door was white and didn't block light. This would not be bad except for the fact that the pool lights are left on 24/7. The shade in the window on the gazebo side would not close all the way and the gazebo area lights are also on 24/7. The tv was 32" and the lowest quality I've seen since before cable. We also could not hear it when the air conditioner came on (which was constant since the door would not create a seal) as the air conditioner put out an average of 87db of sound. I had to download a meter to confirm. The paint in the bathroom is blistering in need of repair. The floors are noticeably slanted. The dresser side was 7 degrees. I'm not sure what the cleaning crew did since we walked in to a dead bug on the floor in the path to the bathroom on the one day they came in (I know they don't come in until after the second night). The bath towels were 4' x 3' and paper thin and we only got 2. It may be because our room was right outside the main building but we got no tour of the facility and were only pointed to the general location.

The property was available at the last minute for an unexpected day at a great price. It was not just a last minute room, we got a whole floor with a spiral staircase, to ourselves. It slept 4 but we were only 2. Patrick was awesome and perfect for welcoming guests. I love the charm and history of the property architecture and layout, while having all the modern amenities we all expect. Met some very fun people at the hot tub! First time in Key West and will definitely stay here for my next trip.

The Cabana Inn has a relaxed vibe. Nice breakfast in the morning and wine and cheese in the afternoon. The staff is easy going and friendly. The turtle and bird residence are fun to check in with daily. The location is outstanding.

location location location good breakfast bar, coffee and tea the roosters crow all night to each other secure limited free parking spaces compared to occupancy availability. Parking costs $37.50 per 24 hrs in an adjacent lot next to the Inn. Overall recommend this property

This is our seventh stay at Cabana. The place is great and we will continue to return in the future. Some of the property looks a bit dated or worn since the last time we were there five years ago, but the rooms are still clean and the staff continues to be as friendly as ever. The morning wake-up call from the roosters is an added bonus!

Amazing location, great staff, parking isn't great but really that is just Key West issue in general so not the hotel's fault. Love the cocktail hour and hot tub!

Not worth the cost
This is a $200 a night hotel - not $500. Breakfast was less than expected, fruit had already turned sour and food variety weak. Room was terrible and attention to detail lacking. Never stay there again.

The Cabana is extremely well-located and surprisingly quiet given its close proximity to Duval Street (half-a-block away). The rooms are spacious with good natural lighting, but if walking up stairs is a problem, you must ask for a unit on the first floor (no elevators). The coffee (24/7) is good. The staff is nice and security after hours responds very quickly. Housekeeping is only after the second night so you have to ask for extra service and supplies (easily obtained). **The roosters (which are EVERYWHERE) begin crowing around 2 A.M. and go on and off about every two hours, and then all day. So if you are a light sleeper, you will need ear plugs or a noise reducer, depending on the location of your room. And the second story won’t help with that.

Well I think if you book your stay on a third party website such as this- they give you their worst room. It was so small, you couldn't open the door all the way as the bed stopped you. I hit my head on the slanted wall each time I went to put something down on the night stand.

Great location and pool!
The location is right off Duval which is great! On the flip side, it was loud one night due to a nearby bar. The roosters were also very loud one night, but obviously out of the hotels control. The happy hour was great! We arrived right at the end of it one night and the person on staff (Patrick) made sure we had wine and snacks before he cleaned it up. It was a great opportunity to meet new people! The pool and hot tub were great too--we enjoyed them one evening. Breakfast food was mostly carbs, but it has a waffle maker (my husband always likes that) and had enough options. Great stay overall!
