Perfect place to stay!

We were so happy with our stay at Southernmost on the Beach. Beautiful facilities and wonderful food at the café. The staff was great and the room was clean and had a wonderful view. We would recommend this hotel to everyone.

First time in Key West

Posted 27-Jan-2015
Pros: Location, location, location. On the water, in a quiet area, walking distance to everything.
Cons: The front desk staff. I had to inform them at both check in/check out that my room included FREE parking. On both occasions they tried to charge me.
Location: I would recommend renting bikes and exploring the entire island. There is a lot to see and it can all be done by bike.
The hotel was ideally located with the only beach on the island and walking distance to most activities. The hotel was very clean and our room offered great views of the beautiful water and sunset. Having explored most of the island by bike, if we were to return we would probably stay at Southernmost on the Beach again.

Four nights. Great spot

Posted 25-Jan-2015
Pros: Beach abd pools
Cons: Really nothing. A chair at the business center would be nice.
Location: Two blocks from Duval and all sorts of shops; just keep walking. The ocean right there was nice. The sunset spot is at the other end of Duval.
Location was great. On the water and at least three pools. The room was very well appointed and very clean. Nice baclony as well. Restuarants were all over. Prices are high, but high all around Key West. One block from Duval Street. All sorts of shops. Breakfasts can be had at numbe rof spots at good prices. I rented a scooter two two blocks down on Duval and it was $20. less expernsive than by the hotel. Shop around. Fury tour were complete. I was on three on them: jet ski, snorkle, and Ocean Comotion. Great five days.

Best hotel in Key West!

Posted 24-Jan-2015
Pros: Loved being that this end of Duval Street. Location, location, location! Private beach and suntanning pier are great. Great access to the water!
Cons: Carpet in our room was loose and bubbled up in several spots (I tripped over it a couple times). Everything else was great
Location: Amazing view of both sunrise and sunset from the sun pier. Walking distance to Duval St, Hemingway House, Louie's Backyard and conch train stop.
We arrived on Saturday afternoon and were promptly checked in and on our way. The hotel lobby is very small and no frills, but I don't spend much time in the lobby so that doesn't really bother me. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our first stop before even going to the room was at the concierge desk. John (or Juan- I can't remember!) was more than happy to recommend activities, get us bikes for the week and recommend restaurants. The staff was all super friendly. Everyone you pass says hello and smiles. Our only request was for an extra pillow and it arrived in minutes. The pool area and other seating areas are kept immaculate. Loved everything about our stay at Southernmost on the Beach!

Clean Resort!.

Posted 23-Jan-2015
Pros: Location and entertainment and size of property and landscaping. Very clean also.
Cons: Prices on drinks and food for Hotel guest. Paying resort fee should give guest a break on those prices. Others should pay higher prices not guests.
Location: Location is great and is close to the action.
Staff was very nice and went out of there way to help us with questions. Concierge service was above and beyond expectations!.

Went to run half marathon. Was perfect. At south end of Duval for being a tourist and right on the race route for family to watch the race. Everything was just right.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. It is kept very clean and is walking distance to many nice restaurants. The atmosphere is quiet because it is at the end of Duval Street.

Attractive comfortable room near the beach. An easy walk to all the attractions and to Duval St. Would stay there again.
