January getaway

Posted 25-Feb-2015
Pros: The staff were always friendly. Beds and pillows are so comfortable. Lovely decks off of the rooms.
Location: Great location at the end of Duval St. Quiet neighborhood and an easy walk to many restaurants and acitivites.
We stayed at the Southernmost on the Beach the last week of January. Just a wonderful vacation in every way. The hotel and grounds were beautiful and the hotel staff couldn't have been nicer. The concierge, Bryan, was very helpful. He recommended great places to eat and made reservations for activities during the day. We went to Blue Heaven for brunch and decided to come back the next evening for dinner. Fun place to eat and watch the chickens roam about. Also, check out Louie's Backyard. Great atmosphere and wait staff. Weather was generally in the low 70's during the day but the evenings got a little chilly.

Exceptionally Beautiful Hotel!

Posted 10-Feb-2015
Pros: The beauty and the convenience.
Cons: At the beach, you had to walk about 20 feet out to get to clear water. The water at the shore was all sand mush. Couldn't see anything.
Location: The Southernmost on the Beach is in a perfect location to enjoy everything Key West has to offer.
The Southernmost on the Beach hotel was gorgeous. The rooms were immaculate and upscale. Partial view room was perfect -- it provided a great view. Hotel personnel from the desk clerks to the maids were friendly and took pride in their work. Because you have access to all four of the Southernmost Hotels close together, you felt like you were at a tropical resort, but still on the U.S. Mainland. I would definitely come back. The hotel is within walking distance of shops and terrific restaurants. The best restaurants were the hotel's breakfast on the beach and two other restaurants -- Pisces and Michael's. My family and I loved it! Lots of interesting history in Key West.

Feb 5-9, 2015

Pros: The staff - especially poolside. Not many kids there so they are very good to the few that are there without going overboard. They are very attentive.
Cons: Nothing, I would stay there again without hesitation.
Location: Walking distance to everything but far enough away from the major partying if you aren't feeling that scene.
The staff is amazing, so helpful. They remember who you are and go out of their way to make you comfortable. Had a partial ocean view which was beautiful, but how much time do you really spend in the room? I would probably save some $ next time and get a non-view room and stay an extra day. All 3 pools are accessible no matter where you stay. The hotel is close enough to Duval St. to get to anything within walking distance. Don't rent a car--get a cab from the airport. There's not much parking in KW and you can walk a couple of miles. It is also very quiet.

Awesome hotel right on the beach

We loved this hotel. They get the little things and the big things right. From water bottles in the room and water refill stations around the property, to nice furnishings, soft sheets and soft towels.

Perfect winter getaway

Posted 08-Feb-2015
Pros: Location was on the water but a little away from the main area of Mallory Square. I enjoyed 1 feature of the hotel very much the Tranquality Pool.
Cons: Clean the elevators and stair cases. Asked about nature or eco tours conceige was not aware of any
Location: We did two water tours by Fury the staff was excellent on both tours . Also we went to a restuartant on Duval "Martins" amazing menu
We had a really wonderful time. The hotel staff was very helpful without being TO helpful. Our room was clean and very nice but the location was overlooking a parking Lot Building D which was not very nice. Also the elevator was VERY dirty

Fun hotel with a lot to offer

Posted 02-Feb-2015
Pros: Beach. Pool. Food. Very nice modern rooms.
Very impressed with the hotel. Almost every square inch of the resort looked and felt newly minted. There are quite private areas to sit and relax and there are public areas, like the access to the adjoining public beach, that are boisterous and active. I was away with my wife to escape the kids and this hotel felt perfect.
