Tolles Hotel und Personal , Ausblick traumhaft

Posted 24-Apr-2015

Not worth the price, it's not a resort but a motel

Too close to the highway, no sunbrella on the pool, no room to have breakfast, very minimum breakfast, old amenities and overall condition of the hotel

Hôtel bien placé dans les Keys. Accueil sympa.

Posted 24-Apr-2015
Pros: accueil, calme, vue sur la mer.
Cons: Le petit déjeuner: c'est mal organisé et l'espace est trop petit. 1 seul percolateur pour 30 personnes !!!!!!
Location: Baignades, parcs, snorkelling, kayak, visites, restos.............
logement correct, spacieux; petit balcon sympa. Ce pied à terre nous a permis d'effectuer une large visite des keys sur 2 jours.

Pros: Loved the view of the water from our room, and the outside balcony with rocking chairs.
Cons: There was a foul smell coming from the accumulated vegetation along the bank of the beach. it could have been easily cleaned up.
We enjoyed our stay this hotel, and it was pretty close to Key West.

Keys vacation

Posted 22-Apr-2015
So glad I stayed in Layton and not in Key West for my entire trip. I am already planning a return trip and will only stay at Lime Tree in the future.

We love this place

Posted 20-Apr-2015
Me and my girl come down to the keys couple times a year from NJ. We love this place. We come for peace and tranquility and its exactly what you get. We've only stayed in the one bedroom and the house but every time its been super clean, beds are nice, porches are awesome, grounds are great lots of hammocks and cool chairs. Pool is good. And the sunsets are amazing. Nothing in either direction for about 6 miles tho so be prepared to be isolated lol. Little general store across the street for food snacks and stuff and you can rent a boat next door if you'd like. We love it.

Beautiful view

Posted 20-Apr-2015
Pros: Beautiful view
Cons: ADD Amenities - a restaurant, additional water activities, etc.
Location: No restaurants. Robbie's is the closest place to go do water sports.
The view from our room was amazing. We had the perfect view of the sunset over the gulf! The room was a good size and was very clean. There was nothing "peaceful" about the room. I had a hard time sleeping the first night due to the sound of large trucks flying by since the rooms are extremely close to the highway. There really isn't a "beach...." more of an area to climb over rocks and get into the gulf. Don't expect to run out for a quick snack, lunch, or dinner... the closest places to eat are on the next islands and are at least 7 miles away. Breakfast was served, however it wasn't anything amazing and was never fully stocked without asking for something!
