“Rooms smell”

Rooms are musty and smokey. I could barely sleep.

“Not Impressed”

This hotel does not look at all like the one online. The hotel is old and dirty. The tv did not work. The toilet did not flush properly, the exhaust fan did not work and was dirty. The bathtub was rusty. TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXPENSIVE. I would never stay here again and would not recommend anyone to stay here.

“Bad Quality Price”

The hotel is too expensive for the quality and location. Too noisy (situated beside the main road) and poor maintenance. At least in the evening i can recommend the restaurant.

“better then expected”

For the price you can't go wrong. I am going back in April for fishing and plan to stay in same hotel. Hotel is very convenient for fishing charters, and is close to everything if you rent a car. Hotel was nicer then I expected.

“cockroaches everywhere”

I lived there for three days, horrible three days. I found a 2-inch big cockroach in the bath room, and the bed sheet was stained by cockroach droppings. very disgusting. worst hotel experience ever.

“Old and cold, needs rehab to bring it up”

We choose this hotel for price. We arrived early, room was not ready, which was fine. We asked if by chance a king bed was available, we would like it. The hotel was NOT full by any means; we knew the desk clerk did not take the time to look for our request. The beds are very uncomfortable and HARD, be alert, there is no padding on the cardboard beneath the quilting. The rusted bathtub should have been resurfaced. The carpet was torn and buckled. Maintenance walked in while we were still in the room. Overall, we would not go back with our current knowledge of the property.

Area recommendations

Wharf, other side of the island, around the west side of the island, bottom line, just plan to spend more for a room on Key West.

When to go

After a holiday, off season is still good, and weekdays seemed to be an easier pace.

“Not that great”

Based on other user reviews and the reasonable price during Thanksgiving I chose this hotel. Sadly, it was in pretty bad shape. It's old, outdated, the doors barely worked on both of our rooms, etc. Highly recommend avoiding this hotel if possible.

“Can't sleep at all!”

Terrible experience. The walls are thin and the floors are dirty. Too much noise at nights that we couldn't sleep at all.

“Not a great experience”

If all the other hotels in town are booked out go for it. Otherwise stay away! Bathroom fan didn't work, sink didn't drai, told to the concierge, nothing was fixed! Carpet was extremely dirty so were the chair. Most of the rooms face a very busy road. No view.
