“Great vacation”
This resort was really beautiful, had a great location and great view from the balconys. The lay out of the condo was spectacular.
“Small Studios”
This Hyatt is in a very convenient location, near Mallory Square, museums, and nightlife. However, it is not really a hotel, but a time share. The property is not on the beach, but has a pool. There is no bar or restaurant on site, although the studio had a small fridge and microwave. We had a mix or studio, 1 BR, and 2 BR in our group. Studios are VERY small, with barely room to walk around the end of the king bed. The larger one bedroom has a small bath and a good sized kitchen area with a full size fridge. The 2 bedroom is basically a studio and a one bedroom combined. All room types have small (maybe 22 inch) TVs. We paid a high price for the rooms, so expectations were high. Not so much... We, like numerous other guest,s had trouble with the key cards--- 8 cards traded in during a single day for one room. Not only did our cards not work, but the office, housekeeping, and managers could not get in. Only maintenance could open the doors. The staff was very helpful in recommending sights, activities, and restaurants. We will not stay here again as we did not feel it was worth the price. Another note-- parking is very expensive and may not even be available. We overheard the front desk giving the bad news to other guests, who were shocked to find they would need to park several blocks away.
“Would consider staying again”
Overall we enjoyed the hotel...great location! Only slight downside was the cruise ships that docked by the hotel everyday....but not a big negative. We did not eat at the hotel so can't comment on that aspect. Location relative to Mallory Square and Duval Street is ideal. Room was clean and comfortable; staff friendly, pool area was really nice.
“Key West.”
Watch the check in time. I missed the fact the check in time was 4:00, so I walked the streets for a few hours. They did get me in around 2:30 or so, but it put a major damperon any activities for that day. Otherwise, Nice room right next to the pool, very noisy though...
“Poor Service”
Poor service, very rude clerks. Unfortunately the manager was little better.
“Hyatt Sunset Harbor”
This Hyatt will meet your basic needs in the way a 2 or 3 Star hotel would. The location is great but the rooms, amenities and service is less than inspiring. Simply put, we would not book there again.
“Really Nice Place”
The rooms were large and clean. The grounds were really very pretty, and the hotel is close to the main drags of Duval Street and Mallory Square. The only drawback was the hotel's proximity to the cruise ship docks.
“Unexpected!!”
Would recomend to anyone for their caring attitude, laid back approach (no pressure tactics) overall caracter of the prpperty, and general appeal . Their staff is one of the best I've ever encountered from front desk to housekeeping.
“AWESOME Key West!!”
Love visiting Key West ,this was my 5th time. See you next spring--if the oil spill doesn't do Damage to the beatiful water, sand, coral and sea life.
“Fine place”
Location is good with overall quality fine.
