“I would go back for sure, may even make it an annual trip!!!”

I was impressed with everything about the hotel, but I must say that the pool was a huge disappointment. It was mostly shaded for the biggest part of the day so not a good place for sun bathing. Other than that, I loved our room, the food at the restaurant was excellent and the people were nice. Also, the fitness room was nice with modern equipment so we also enjoyed that since we like to get in a workout even on vacation. The hotel location is great because everything you need is in walking distance. We hope to return same time next year!

Key West is great! It's small enough to get around easily and Duvall Street is always alive and a great time!

“"Time of our lives"”

Hyatt Resort and Spa in my opinion, is the most impressive hotel I have ever stayed at, PERIOD!! From the front desk to housekeeping, from the management to the staff, its was by far most impressive! Folks really cared about your stay! CAN NOT wait to go back next year! FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When to go

We went in late July.It was very hot and humid! If you like that sort of weather it's great.If not, I suggest January or Feb!

Getting around

I suggest renting a electric car. we rented for 5 Days. That was a bit to long, seeing the island is only 4 miles by 11/2 miles. If you want to see everything as we did. Then 3 days is a good length. Also, advise to you! Go out early, because there is very limited parking!

Dining

My wife and I suggest 2 restaurants, A & B Lobster house and The Commodore for fine dining. It is very casual but has real nice atmosphere! Great places to eat! We didn't do the nightlife thing so I can not comment on that!

“It was OK!”

The pictures on the web of the rooms and the actual room size are not the same. The rooms are VERY small. The pool is VERY small, the VERY small beach area is full of homeless people. The location is great one block from Duval and right on the marina where there are excursions, restaurants, shops.

Beautiful hotel and setting. A little on the pretentious side. Hotel personnel very nice. Would have been nice to have a phone book and they charged for internet usage, a little ridiculous.

“Great!!”

Excellent hotel! Good location (2 minutes from Duval Street). Nice staff. Million dollar sunset view from pool area and hotel restaurant. Large high quality room. A/c is a bit loud though.
