“Worth it. . . .”

After riding the island highway to get to key west, the lobby area smelled wonderful and looked inviting. We received a very warm welcome and check-in took less than 5 minutes. Our room was clean and the pool area was awesome. Although I would have preferred a better beach behind the hotel, it gave us reason to explore the island, and have a great time on the scooters we rented which the shuttle picked us up to get. It's worth the cost, the ride across all those darn islands, and the distance from the "Duval Street" action. Can't wait to go back. . . .

Area recommendations
We loved the Fort Zachary Beach area, very good snorkeling
Getting around
Scooters are a must, and watch out for the people who wander and don't watch where they're going.
What to pack
Water shoes!!! Coral and rocks hurt to walk on, not much sand in water.

“Can't wait to go back!!!”

We had a wonderful time at our hotel. Staff was helpful with booking boat trip. They also saved us money by booking through hotel. Location was quick and easy. Gas grills (3) by the beach and pool area made for fun grilling and great views. Great overall experience. Will stay again.

“We loved it !!”

The two bedroom condo was spacious and the kids loved the pool area.

Area recommendations
We visited almost every part of the city. Mallory Square was much more family friendly.
Family-friendly activities
This was our first Key West, FL visit. The beaches aren't too good, but we went to Smather's Beach and went parasailing. Had a blast. Mallory Square was a better atmosphere for the family than Duval Street.

“Clean and Relaxing”

Our stay at the Hyatt Beach Resort was wonderful. We enjoyed were able to enjoy restfull and peaceful nights. The beds were very comfortable and the other amenities were lacking for nothing. Even a top of the line blender in the kitchen! The only thing I wish they had was a breakfast/lunch restaurant and a bar. Other then that it was perfect!!

“Can't wait to go back!”

We would highly recommend this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You can book activities right at the hotel. The location was perfect- close enough to everything, but far enough away for some peace and quiet. We are looking forward to our next visit to Key West and staying here again!

Family-friendly activities
There's so many fun things to do in Key West. The guided tour by jet skis was our favorite. It's a 2 hour tour around Key West. Great way to play and see things around the island. We also enjoyed Kayaking around the back waters. Para-sailing was awesome too-much less scary than we thought it would be. We also got a chance to do a dolphin/snorkeling tour which was also a treat! You can't swim with the dolphins, but it was very neat to see them so close. You are taken to a different location to snorkel and see other neat things under the sea! Our tour guide/captain was full of wonderful information too-really enjoyed our time with her! Our family is looking forward to another trip to this beautiful little paradise called Key West!

“Comfort in the Keys”

This is a great place to stay if you are traveling with a large group or want some privacy and the comforts of home. Check in was very quick and easy, and they gave us no trouble for arriving before check in time either. We had gotten a two bedroom suite, which also comes with a pull out couch, two full bathrooms, washer and dryer, and full kitchen with any appliances and silverware you may need. The deck was also enclosed to keep mosquitos out but let in a nice breeze, and also contained furniture so that we could make our meals and eat them outside as well. There was much to do at the property. A few days after we arrived they held an orientation with the area's most popular attraction companies such as fishing, diving, snorkeling, boating, and other Key West tours with significant discounts. There is also a dock where you could try snorkeling, a grill, and a nice pool and jacuzzi with hammocks surrounding them. Or you could literally walk to the neighboring key- Key West is very pedestrian friendly. The suite was kept very clean and there was no noise around the hotel that woke us up early. All in all it was a home away from home.

“Definitely recommend!”

We visited Key West for Fantasy Fest (a total blast!) and stayed at this hotel. If you prefer to stay away from all the noise of Duval St during wild times such as this, it's a great place to go. The walls are sort of thin, and the housekeeping carts sound like a train coming thru, but if you're out seeing the sights, who cares? Be prepared to pay around fifteen for a cab to or from downtown, or pay up to forty for parking (again, this wass during Fantasy Festival). Our overall experience with this hotel was absolutely wonderful and if we visit again NOT during any huge festivals, we'd likely stay here again. Next year's Fantasy Fest, we're staying closer to Duval St. However, I would absolutely, definitely recommend this hotel as a great place to stay.
