“Stay here and do day trips(s) to Key West.”

Hotel opened in October 2010. Still has that newly-constructed smell. Great breakfast included and excellent pool area.

“Great Value and Location”

My husband and I stayed at this hotel over Memorial Day weekend. The hotel looks to be brand new and was impeccably clean. The room was spacious and very comfortable. They also have complimentary breakfast which was very tasty and the coffee was very good. We were only in the hotel to shower and sleep so I cannot comment on the ammenities as we did not partake. The staff at the front desk was nice and friendly. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when visiting The Keys.

“Comfortable, Quiet, Lovely Hotel”

We were very pleased with the accomodations at the Southernmost Hotel. Very clean, staff as friendly as could be. Loved the fact that there were to pools, one at the outdoor bar for party time, and one "serenity" type pool that was very quiet and secluded for more restful swims. Check-in, check-out was smooth, concierge was helpful. This hotel is at the quiet end of Duval Street, but within easy walking distance to all the action. I would definately stay there again!

“Great value”

Hotel was very new, very clean and reasonably priced. We caught sunset across the street at the restaurant - unusual fried key lime pie - very, very sweet. There are 3 computers in the business center for internet access which was nice. The breakfast offered a decent variety of food/drinks/juices (even hard-boiled eggs), and the cinnamon buns were FANTASTIC! Great midway place to stop on the drive down. We got a queen suite with fridge as we wanted to have cold water bottles in morning when we left for Bahia Honda State Park which is very close to the hotel. Unfortunately, there were a lot of jellyfish in late August, but we were told they came early. We stayed in Key West the rest of our trip. You could have commuted from Marathon, but I would not have wanted to drive back to Marathon after sunset each night. We stayed at Pier House in Key West which was a let down. Beautiful grounds and decent size pool and a clean soft sand beach (very rare in Key West), but the staff did not keep everything clean. We found a condom in the water 3 feet from the beach which the staffer ignored after two requests to take care of it, There were large iguanas all around which were very cool until they pooped on pool chaises and was not cleaned up for hours. The front desk said it was normal, but they don't check it regularly to clean up after them. But my kids loved the turtles in the koi pond at the Pier House. And it was great being able to walk everywhere.

“Wish we were still there!!”

Upon checking in, we were very impressed. Not only were the desk personel very courteous, but everyone else that worked there. The breakfast was super. Very good selection of different things to eat and drink. The rooms were very very clean. Linens were replenished every day. We did hear other people while in their rooms, but, it was a hotel! The pool area was very clean. There is a Tiki Hut that was being built, but not finished. We heard it was going to open sometime at the end of March. They also have a boat marina with a small store off of the pool area. The hotel is located close to many restaurants, state parks, community beaches, and other things to do. Very, Very relaxing!!! Ready to go back now!
