This property is a motel, not a hotel, so your room door opens to the outdoors. If you use an external booking venue such as expedia, make sure to contact the Inn to explicitly describe where your room is. From the pictures and description on Expedia, we thought we had booked a “creekside” room. However, we were on the 2nd floor with a small window viewing the parking lot. The swimming beach is about 5 miles from the property, for which you get a pass to use for free. Just make sure you don’t intend on walking. It’s in the beautiful FL Keys, so quite a wonderful experience. Just make sure to contact the Inn before you book, as the advertised descriptions and pictures were not what we thought once we arrived. Plan for slow travel coming south to Key Largo.

I am not sure how some reviews on this property are 10? I am very confused and disappointed the only explanation is I think there are two sections to this hotel and the other section must be much nicer. Our room was dated, dirty and the door didn’t close all the way, the toilet was wobbly, no water pressure! We asked the front desk clerk about it twice she said she would get the manager to come to fix it we had zero follow up! I wish Expedia would review the rating on this motel as I feel like I was taken advantage of as the pictures look nothing like the room we had!

Beautiful view right on a canal. My kids loved being able to fish right outside our door. Swimming pool was nice, had grills and fire pit for BBQ and s'mores. Easy parking. Reasonably priced for the Keys. Close to restaurants and stores. Only issue was ice machine didn't work. Otherwise was fantastic place to stay!

Very disappointed! Receptionist was very rude at arrival. Then as I am unpacking my stuff a housekeeper was asking which room (specific room number) that I was staying in, which I thought was inappropriate. She had also brought her 4 children to work with her the day of my stay and they were throwing rocks in the water where I was fishing and at near by boats. The A/C unit was full of black mold so I turned the unit off so no air flow while staying in the Florida keys. I called the number provided if I had any issues about it. A man came to my room and basically said there was nothing he could do about it that night and basically just said to leave if I didn’t want to sleep in the room with the mold. I was told they would refund the $274 for the room and $200 for the deposit in full and would be in contact with Expedia immediately. I would appreciate if Expedia could communicate with me directly about this issue as I have already checked out and Creekside Inn will not answer phone calls.

The staff was super friendly and quick to help out if questions arose- Sydney at the front seat was really wonderful - the canal outside our room was cool, bed was comfortable, there was a breakfast place that shared a parking lot open 8a-3p and a small outside bar with stone crab claws at the end of the complex open 3p-10p and still in the same old highway spot was another outside bar that had lobster rolls and fresh fish tacos or rolls made to order and beer choices in a cooler and also a great snorkel/ dive place and a kayak/ paddleboard store

Stayed only for one night. Is a great property for the price, checking in was quick & easy. Had a great view of the canal with the boats passing by, manatees, nurse sharks, tarpons, pelicans... The building might be old but it was clean enough and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.

We had a canal side room, but the back of the room was to the street, with a window, so not very sound proof. Also the only window to the canal was in the bathroom and frosted. The main room window was also frosted, so no way to see out anywhere! There were some chairs outside to enjoy the view.

Staff was very helpful. Great place to stay for a quick trip. Pros: staff, location, size of freezer and fridge for fishing. Cons: older place, but very clean! Slippery when wet floors…. Like dangerously slippery. Be careful getting in and out of shower and even with shoes on if the floor has a drop of water on it. But generally a good place to sleep for the price.

Outdated, loud, our room was adjacent to gravel parking so every time a car pulled in or out it made a lot of noise. Smokers directly outside our room, only sheet in bed with light quilt that was old, dried snot on shower curtain, reception behind plexiglass’pointed’ for me to move behind glass instead of asking. Overall very poor.

We're have stayed at Creekside twice now and have enjoyed both visits. The property is very low key and laid back which we love. We had access to everything we need including Adirondack chairs in front of our unit to enjoy each day. The staff are very friendly and quick to fulfill needs. We never had issues with parking or access to the pool lounge chairs. We will probably visit again.
