“good price, good location, quiet,,,,,”
had a quiet night ,woke up to a beutiful day,
“Stay Away!!!!”
No check in onsite with no mention of that ahead of time. It was falling apart. Pool was green. Beach was disgusting. Even the check in clerk was down on the place. This was my first time using expedia and I am deeply disappointed that they would promote this place.
“not what its cracked up to be”
we stayed at the bonefish resort what a mistake they said that there was a a beach with in walking distance not there was no beach. it was covered in sea weed i wouldnt go in this water nor would i put my grandbaby in it it was horriable. the room was clean but could use up dated our tv didnt work when we called them they were suppose to send someone to look at it and they never showed up. we thought it had a sm deck wrong again. it had like a court yard . 1 small pool it was clean if i was management i would look at up dating everything in these rooms they also need phones there werent any. it was a kitchenette but there was no table and chairs where you could eat . we sat out side the bugs tried to carry us away .we were very un happy and left the next day unstead of staying 2 days i would not recomaned this place to anyone its not what it is avertised to be we were very dissapointed in this so called resort ill never go back there again . THIS IS FOR MANAGEMENT YOU HAVE A NICE PIECE OF PROPERTY AND YOU NEED TO UP DATE YOUR ROOMS AND CLEAN UP THE BEACH AND IT WOULD BE A GREAT LITTLE PLACE TO STAY THANK YOU MUCH JANET DROM JACKSONVILLE FL
“Bad Experience in the Keys”
Can't recommend the Bonefish Resort. Not really a resort at all, just a conglomeration of 1950's rooms that are both tiny and filthy. Staff was unfriendly, and no parking except on highway. We're not fussy travelers but my wife and I both agreed this was the worst place we had stayed at in over 10 years. Oh, and beware the hidden "resort fee" that you will pay on check-in.
“"Bonefish" or "Bare Bones" ?”
Change name from "Bonefish" to "Bare Bones" ! Quite old, smelly & beat up. On ocean, but no beach, just mud flat. Just a place to stay on your way to somewhere else - cheap.
“Decent for the money.”
Hotel was the least expensie we found in the Upper/Middle Keys for that evening. The size of our room was great: bedroom area was sectioned off from kichenette, and we have full kitchen facilities. Beds were comfy. Courtyard of the resort was nice, and the ocean view was spectacular. Walls of room were a little degraded, caved in in spots, etc. Our only real complaint was that there was a dampness, almost moldy, to the air in the room. Woke up the following morning kinda stuffy and coughing a little.
“Your classic dive”
If you're a guy who is out fishing all day and doesn't care much about where you stay, this place is provides a bed...but not much else. Some rooms appear to be mobile homes/trailers that have been wood-sided. My room was in the section that was cobbled together in the 50's. The 13" TV was probably from the 70's. The front desk people---located in another hotel a few houses away , were nice, but there must a better place to stay.
“Cute little resort”
I enjoyed being there right on the water. Nothing fancy but cute. I would definitely go back. Because of the time of year we basically had the place to ourselves.
“wish they would of credited us”
if they would of gave us the extra nite for the same as the other room it would not bin so bad.they were not over booked that extra day. Not very professional! we were very upset that they didn't credit us for the aggravation for the first nite.since they told us the maid was in that room all morning getting it ready.no power, no air, fridge off. wow she didn't see the room was still not ready.
“Its a fishing camp, what do you expect?”
Look, this isn't a resort. It has a pool, fine, its still a misnomer. Its old, and uncomfortable. Its more for a fishing village for those who are more concerned with the size of the tarpon as opposed to living accommodations. I wouldn't recommend this place to any one. For the price, there are probably nicer places to stay.
