“Nice place to stay in Marathon”

This is a nice place, but a little on the older side. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The location is wonderful being right next to a restaurant/bar with a covered outdoor deck that you can walk to. All considered it was very relaxing.

Thought we were pulling into a dumpy trailer park at first. Surrounding buildings not the greatest. But after we settled in, not so bad. Just old and kind of outdated. Walk to the marina and gulf were nice.

“only for 1 night”

Fair hotel for the price. You get a clean bedroom with old matress in an old hotel close to a marina. There is nothing to do around. Just for 1 night if you are not looking for confort.

“Bill's blast”

This facility is beyond tired. It is being allowed to disintegrate with minimal repairs. Tiles in the bath are missing or broken, the water on/off handles in the shower spurt water around them, the bedside lamp had faulty wiring and the microwave cord was too short to reach the outlet. We put it on the floor to get it to work. The next day an extension cord was available to reach and it dangled from above the refrigerator to the wall near the floor. The walls are so thin we could hear the guy in the next room snoring. The sheets had holes in them and the bed cover was Stone Age. Having said all this, the room came with refrigerator and the above mentioned microwave. It was spacious and it was clean. Further, there was a nice common use grill area and the view from their point overlooking the water was very attractive. Bottom line, it's a dump and not worth the price.

Air conditioner filter needed cleaning. Noisy kids in the open corridor next to our room.
