We stayed for a week, and had a wonderful time in this mostly all-inclusive family beach resort. A real highlight was the daily morning hike, led by Renato, through the dunes, forests, cliffs, and beaches. The beach is beautiful, and the setting really idyllic. The food options were outstanding - meat, seafood, vegetarian, everything. There's food served (included) from 7 am to 2 am every day. Several eatery options exist. The pools range from a large pool that's almost bathtub temp to cold water lap pool, and several in between (but no true hot tub). The exercise facilities were excellent - both aerobic and weights/machines. The spa was very nice and reasonably priced for a resort. We stayed in one of the "villas" which are really condominium-style hotel rooms (as opposed to the actual Hotel). It's 3 min walk from the main beachfront area, and the room was clean and the bed comfortable. Our fridge got stocked daily with water and soda. Standard alcoholic beverages are also included; specialty cocktails carry a modest charge. A minor negative was that if you want hotel transport to and from the resort, it's very expensive. But we used Uber everywhere and did quite well. It's a 10 min ride to downtown Inglesias (nearby town). The hotel does offer a shuttle to the golf course (20 min away) but only at strict times. So we also used Uber and it was fine. Rides are cheap in US$. Another negative is that very few people spoke English. But everyone was extremely welcoming and kind.
