“Would recommend”

Friendly, comfortable hotel with a magnificent view over Florence. Both the local and open top bus regularly stop close to the front of the hotel. Fiesole, a town with a busy square with many restaurants and interesting sights is a 15/20 min walk away - or catch the bus !!Hotel swimming pool is small but adequate. Restaurant had both inside or terrace seating- excellent food and view. Breakfast selection and service both very good.

“Great Location!”

This was a great hotel! Just a short 10 min bus ride up the hill to Fiesole away from the hustle and city noise of Florence. Beautiful views of the Florence Skyline. Highly recommend and would stay there again.

“Brilliant location to explore Florence”

We stayed in November, and chose the hotel because of its location. It turned out to be really convenient, with a bus stop almost outside the hotel entrance (1 euro to central Florence). Rooms spotless, and staff friendly. Being off season outside bar and pool not open, so getting coffee/tea etc except at mealtimes not possible.

This hotel exceeds its rating of 3 stars. It is beautiful, comfortable, well maintained, easy to reach, and satffed by courteous and helpful people. We loved the view from the gardens and the restaurant. Everything was top notch.

“Worth the visit”

Perched on the hillside to the northwest of Florence this small but charming hotel offers a quiet location within a short bus ride to downtown Florence. Rooms are good, breakfast substantial, service excellent. The pool is more of a plunge pool, so if swimming is important this is probably not the place for you. We would go back in a heart beat

“Probably the best view of Florence you can find”

We stayed here on the first night of our Italian holiday - having visited Florence previously, we just wanted somewhere peaceful and relaxing after our journey, where we could enjoy a lovely dinner overlooking this beautiful city. Villa Fiesole certainly fitted the bill. We were met by extremely helpful staff, who carried our luggage for us (reception is up a steep flight of steps) and then checked us in with very little fuss. Our room was small, but perfectly formed, ditto the bathroom. Our room had a lovely view over the city of Florence. It was the feast of San Giovanni (St John) on the day in question, so the hotel was offering a special feast night fish dinner - absolutely delicious and very good value, as it included extremely good wines. A perfect start to the holiday. As we were not leaving until the following afternoon, we had a leisurely breakfast and, although we had to check out of our room by midday, we were given all the things we needed to spend a relaxing morning by the pool and were welcome to use all of the hotel services for as long as we wished. All in all, a lovely start to what turned out to be a lovely holiday. Villa Fiesole is slightly on the pricey side, but then that seems to be par for the course for Florence generally. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
