Cheap motel! I was dying for the night to be over to leave.

Room wasn't very clean. Not satisfied.

I booked the Travelodge for its value, and I was not disappointed. It was the cheapest place I could find for a clean room in the right part of town (specific rates not allowed in reviews, sorry). There is a pool, ice, clean sheets, and everything you would expect. I was traveling by Motorcycle on a 15 day tour, this particular leg from Helen GA to Morehead City NC, and the Florance Travelodge and its pool fell right in between. I was glad to be there for what I paid. I could not find decent food choices in the direct neighborhood, but one exit North on 95 has lots of choices (chain restaurants, like Olive Garden and such).

It was a nice place. No complaints.

“Not impressed”

I had an issue with the so-called "Continental Breakfast". They advertised Continental Breakfast on the internet and when we arrived to eat breakfast, there was barely any variety. I had to ask for bread and almost everything was already gone and we got there to eat at 9:00 am. Also, there was only one table with 2 chairs. So my children sat at the table while my husband and I stood up eating our "Breakfast". There was a terrible smell of smoke in the room. It was so bad that my daughter couldn't take the odor and left the room to eat her "Breakfast" outside in the rain. I have to say that I left my camera charger in the room and they sent it back to me. That was very kind. But other than that, I was not impressed.

“Reasonbly Priced Comfort”

The only thing that I was disappointed with about this place was that they were having problems with the pool so the kids couldn't go swimming.

Never again. Sometimes it's not worth saving a penny, wife is still mad at me.

Although inexpensive, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom left a lot to be desired. I did not shower that night due to the uncleanliness of the bathroom. It really turns me off when there is mold in the grout and the floor looks like it has never been cleaned. I told my two grandchildren not to go into the bathroom unless they had shoes one. It was noisy for a while but things settled down around midnight.

“Florence, SC”

I was in Florence for a Graduation Ceremony. I did not spend much time in my hotel. I was staying alone, but felt safe even on the first floor. The room was very affordable and it was nice having a fridge and microwave...things you normally don't get in much higher priced hotels. I also had a coffee maker and they provided a small breakfast in the office (which I didn't take advantage of, since I ate out with friends). Yes, I'd recommend for a very affordable stay.
