“Great location”

Excellent location. Breakfast was better than other hotels we stayed at in Italy. Biggest drawback was the decor could be updated and the shower had no curtain or door which sprayed water all over. Large sized room though. If they made the necessary changes/updates due to the location it would likely also make the price much more expensive. Overall reasonable place to stay compared to other options in the vicinity for the price.

Area recommendations

Area around Piazza del Republica because it's between Duomo and Piazza della Signoria. Has a lot of nice shops/restaurants and is very lively area.

“Great Bargain”

On my trip, I stayed in hotels in Florence, Rome and Prague and this was the best experience. Staff was friendly and helpful, the location was great and the room rate was very reasonable. The elevator is small but I think that's due the way the building structured. Not a big issue. All things balanced, this is a bargain. There were five adults in my group and all of us were well satisfied.

“Very Impressed”

The hotel was very nice. they had free wifi. everyone was really nice. it was in a prime location right in the middle of everything. good complimentary breakfast. we did have 3 people and the main bed was ok but the bed for the third person was horrible. it was pretty much like sleeping on a box spring. other then that everything was great.

“very good hotel & great location”

we stay three days @ this hotel. UNfortunately, we have been in another for almost a week untild we decided to try the Strozzi Palace. It culd not be a better decision. The hotel has the best location you may imagine for staying in a city like Firenze. The service is outstanding and the room was very clean and with enough space for us and our luggage. we will come back next year to Firenxe and for sure this Hotel will be our fist option!

“Great hotel in excellent location”

This was the second time my wife and I stayed at the Strozzi, and we were quite pleased once again. As withour first visit, the hotel staff were courteous and helpful, and they all spoke passable English. The spacious and comfortable rooms more than make up for the entrance (one flight of stairs or a small elevator ride to the lobby from the street access) and narrow hallways. The breakfast was not as good as when we stayed here in 2007 (no frittatas this time, and the bread selection was more limited), but it was good enough to fuel you for the day. The chief appeal of the hotel to us, though, is it's location, just a short block away from the Piazza de la Repubblica, and a short walking distance to most of the sights (including the Duomo, Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio and Pitti Palace) and shopping.

“Well Located”

This hotel is near main attractions. The reception is in the first floor and to get the elevator there are a few steps too. the parking is not at the hotel. Staff is helpful and the room is good. You can walk from the hotel to all main attractions (duomo, museums, shopping...)

“A great location and a very nice Hotel”

The Strozzi Palace Hotel is a great Hotel located in the Heart of the city. I would definitely go back and would highly recommend this place.

Area recommendations

Plaza Signora in Florence is a few minutes walking distance. Great sculptuer as well as the Uffizi Gallery are located there. Wonderful restaurants as well are but a few minutes away.

“Good Location”

The location was about the only positive for this place. The staff was not very friendly, the internet connection was terrible. The air conditioning was decent, but the decor was a bit dated. There was a leak in the ceiling outside of the room which caused a large wet spot in the carpet, and the toiled constantly ran. The breakfast was terrible. The location was too good to resist though...

“Cant wait to go back”

Our experience in the hotel was magnificent. It is a very good hotel, clean and comfortable and its location in the city is perfect. All staff is very professional and helpful. Very good attention at all times and very well served breakfast. Definitely recommend it.
