This is a nice hotel, very clean and the staff are nice enough. but please do not stay here if you wish to experience tuscani beauty, all you will see is a motorway and all you will hear is lorries and traffic, even when you are round the pool, also the pool space is small and could be quite dangerous for kids

“4th year in a row staying here”

Let me begin by saying I've never stayed in a hotel where the staff was friendlier. This is our 4th year in a row staying at this hotel and we are beginning to feel like family. Of course this is not a 5-star hotel, but the staff makes up for it by giving 5-star service. The hotel is 16 kilometers south of Florence and even though it's just off the highway, with all the shrubs and trees around the property, there is a feeling of seclusion. Parking is no problem here, and it's free. There are many good restaurants in the area, with one right next door. The pool, out back, is large and is surrounded by what feels like a garden of shrubs, trees and flowers. It almost feels like you are swimming in your own back yard. The hotel serves a comfortable breakfast with terrific service. I wish the showers were a bit larger, but they are okay. If you go here expecting 5-star facilities, you'll be dissapointed. The hotel is well kept, but it wasn't built to be a top facility. If you stay here and want to enjoy a quiet visit and appreciate the efforts of a fabulous staff, you'll want to come back again and again. The manager, Phillipo, is a true gentleman in every sense. His primary goal is the comfort of his guests. The owner of the property even works here each morning, at breakfast, serving various coffees to the guests. I don't write reviews, but I love this place so much, I want to take the time praise a place that truly caters to its guests.

“Good hotel”

The hotel is located within 25 min drive from the center of Florence, right by the exit from the highway. The only way to get to Florence seems to be by car. If you try finding this hotel, DO NOT TRUST YOUR GPS and get a map instead. GPS will bring you to ... nowhere, and about half-a-mile from the actual hotel location. There is a balcony where you can sit, weather permiitng. There is a designated parking lot, which might be full late at night. There is a pizzeria/restaurant 20 yards away. The staff is friendly, the breakfast is good. The internet works.

“Excellent Home Base”

Excellent home base for tuscan experience due to being on free super strada use park and ride @ Certosa Autostrade entrance and take bus into Firenze super easy to go to Siena, Voterra, San Glimano (sp), and 11 euros to roma, and 5 euros to Pisa and Lucca Hotel is very good, breakfast is heathy and plenty of selection, they do the little things right

The hotel is in a great location, right off a main highway, convenient to visiting many towns and sights. The pool is lovely and the breakfast spread is fantastic. The staff was very helpful to us, especially with directions, which can be rather challenging in Italy. The only slight drawback was our room was on the small side with no drawers to unpack fully; however, all the other hotels we stayed in were the same in this regard. Nearby Barbarino has the best restaurant we came across on our entire trip - tables on a huge terrace with gorgeous views of the Chianti countryside and fabulous, inexpensive food. We ate there three nights in a row!

“Peaceful and Very Well Maintained”

A very well maintained hotel set in a beautiful park, close to a winery. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. If you travel by car and would like to explore the countryside, this is a great location (20 km from Florence and 40 km from Siena, in the heart of the Chianti region and just off the Florence-Siena highway). The only downside: if you rely on public transportation, there is no railroad neaby and the bus service to Florence is not very frequent (although the bus stop is across the street from the hotel). Overall, good value for the money.
