We had issues getting into the BnB. Took hours to get in. Once in ... all was good. Nice lady, nice room, great value for money. I do recommend this place, just MAKE SURE someone will actually be there to let you in and you'll have a great place to stay. Take ear plugs as italians speak REALLY loud and it feels like they are in your room when they are actually downstairs. Have fun Matty

“Comfy and convenient”

Ninnananna is a lovely bed and breakfast located within easy walking distance of the Piazza San Marco, the Accademia, and the Duomo. Good restaurants are nearby. Rita, the proprietress, is warm and welcoming, with good humor and lively spirit. The room was comfortable and quiet, located in the back, and free WIFI service was available. The signal may not be strong enough in each room, due to shielding. Direct cable connection is available in the common area. We will stay here again the next time we come to Florence.

“Good and Clean B&B”

Very friendly owner and clean room. We shared a bath with three other rooms, never had a problem with hot water or getting into the bathroom when we needed to. Not as close to the major attractions/museums, and a 15 minute walk to the train station, but not too bad of a walk, just with heavy luggage I would recommend a taxi (narrow sidewalks makes it hard to maneuver). Not a lot of places to eat close by, mostly residential/business. I would stay again, but might choose some place closer to the center of the town.

“For the adventurous not the faint of heart”

The entrance to the apartment was a bit scary (cardboard covering the floor of the long dark hallway to the apt door) and the place was a hodge podge of eclectic decorations and a bit on the shabby side...but once in our room we found everything to be excellent considering the great price. It was like staying at your crazy aunts house, she made us feel welcome and the location was perfect for walking to see everything important in Florence. Although I would hesitate to recommend it to others, it was actually our favorite hotel...as I said...an adventure.

firstly there was no welcome drink and no private bathroom exists if there is more than one room occupied out of the guest rooms. R. said that she could offer us her friends place but that would be 80 Euro a night to rent. There was one toilet for 10 people and the bathroom floor was mucky from shower being used and no bath mat. Breakfast was decent and R. will let you use the internet on her computer if you ask which was helpful. Our room was ok with a little balcony no view though as this was in the middle of the building.The location was in walking distance of many places including the train station. So long on short of it if you have no problem with sharing a bathroom/toilet etc you can negotiate a better rate.
