“Great place”

Very happy with this hotel for a family of 6. We had do much room. Quality fit-out and we even got a terrace to our surprise. Great restaurant down stairs and the lift was very handy with a pram. Very good position. Great experience highly recommended.

“Exceeded expectations”

Booked this hotel for Sept 2011 for three people..what a surprise to find that our "room" was a full apartment! It had 3 bedrooms, 2 hugh baths, a living room, dining room and kitchen. The location was perfect. Walking distance to all attractions and "il procopiio" the very best gelato in all of Italy right next door! When in Florence again this will definately our place to stay.

“Loved it!!”

We were in the Magnifico Suite and we had a view out of every window. The only downside was there was an odd smell in our room late at night(possibly from the restaurant below)...I don't know if that is always there and it didn't smell like that anywhere else in the hotel. Great shower/ bathroom. The location was perfect, I would stay here again for sure...maybe a different room next time.

“A very pleasant experience.”

Overall, a very enjoyable experience for our first European vacation. A great value and very comfortable for a large family needing the space to spread out. Safe and secure location with a gated entrance to the street. Convenient to walk to local attractions and restaurants/shopping.

“FANTASTIC Place to Stay in Florence / Helpful Staff”

I emailed the hotel before arrival to request a room away from the Palazzo (quieter) and they were happy to help with that. I also advised that I would be arriving at 9:30 in the morning. Our room was ready when we got there and the staff was always helpful - arranged for taxis for us, gave us extra towels, etc. The apartments are beautiful and the amount of food they bring daily is more than 4 of us could eat. The location is perfect - close to markets, the Duomo, etc. A gelato shop is next door as is a bar that has "apertivo' every night. (Order one drink and get a free buffet for dinner.) I would DEFINITELY stay here again. The apartments are very spacious and we were well taken care of. (NOTE: When booking through Expedia, they do not clean your rooms or bring fresh towels. You will need to take the trash out yourself. Minor issues, but worth noting.) Don't let the price fool you - this is a GREAT place to stay! Amenities: kitchen with dishwasher, toaster, coffee / espresso maker, microwave, refrigerator; full sized bathrooms (we had 2), dining room table with 4 chairs, sofabed, clock/radio, telephone, soap and shampoo in the bathroom(s), hairdryer.

“Really nice suite apartments !!!”

Great location, within a short walk of all galleries and museums etc. The apartments are larger than they appear on the website and are comfortable and well equiped. Bathrooms clean and modern. Staff were very helpful and will arrange restaurant and museum reservations. I wish I could have stayed longer!

“A definite winner for our family trip to Florence - highly recommend!”

We have 4 kids, from 6 - 20, so we need space and we like to be in a location where the older kids can venture out alone if they wish. We booked the 2 bedroom superior apt and it was fantastic. We travel in Europe each year and this was by far the most comfortable, spacious apart-hotel accommodation we have found. The location is ideal - an easy walk everywhere and it was so nice to be close enough to come back and rest/ clean up before going out in the evening. There is parking (15 euros/day) but call to confirm there will be a space. Otherwise, the city parking (blue spots only!) was fine. The apartment was large. There was a big kitchen/dining/living room, with full kitchen appliances, including stove and dishwasher. The dining room table sat 6. We had one bedroom with a US queen sized bed; one with 2 twin beds; a sofabed in the living room. The beds were comfortable and had nice linens. There was a full bathroom and a shower room, each with toiletries, ample towels and slippers. Instead of a breakfast buffet, you have a basket of food delivered each evening. Our first day, they had missed us but we were given a voucher for a nearby cafe instead. The quantity is very generous. We had a pound of coffee and a box of cereal for our 3 day stay and, daily, were given a loaf of bread, pastries, butter and jam, sliced meat, sliced cheese, a litre of juice and a litre of milk. There is a supermarket 5 mins down the street (direction Duomo) for other supplies you might want.

“Wonderful apartment in the center of Florence”

It was a great stay. The location is fabulous, walking distance from the main touristic sites in beautiful Florence. The apartments are spacious and very convenient. . The kitchen is well equipped. There is a supermarket a block away and we were able to cook simple meals for a change, after 3 weeks of eating in restaurants. The place has a wonderful view and it has 3 ac and overall was a great experience. Be aware that for internet there is a separated fee.

“Spacious apartment”

This is a spacious apartment, not a hotel. Short walk to the major shopping area of Florence. Manager is very helpful and considerate, but do not expect room service or other such hotel amenities.
