“The best way to visit Florence.”

Excellent base if visiting Florence. Train journey takes approximately 30 minutes and no parking fees( hotel has free parking ). Also 15 minutes drive from "the Mall " which is a factory outlet for many of the major fashion houses.

“I would highly recommend Hotel Residence Panorama!”

My traveling partners and I found the hotel to be immaculate and relatively quiet. The staff as well as the other guests were very kind and helpful. The concierge was incredibly helpful with suggestions and assistance such as mapping out road routes and train schedules. He also brought out points of interest in Figline.

“Not a Hotel, but OK for the price”

This is not really a "hotel", more like an apartment building. There was a daily maid service. The front desk is manned only sporadically during the daytime. No air-conditioning, but the refrigerator and wireless internet service worked. The electricity failed our first night and we had to go to the nearby train station (no phones in the rooms or un-attended front desk), to call the attendant's cell phone. He did come to reset the circut breakers within an hour. Apparently the wiring to a lighting fixture shorted out.

“Too noisy to sleep”

This hotel is directly in the train station. There is no air conditioning so you have to keep your windows open during the summer. The commuter trains quit at midnight but the freight trains go all night long. The hotel was very clean and would have loved it if it was in a different location.
