“Good hotel, highly recommended”

I highly recommend this hotel to everyone going to Florence with its excellent location and its good price, if you could bare a little bit of noise from the street outside. The hotel is just 5 mins walk from the Florence SMN station, and it's opposite to San Lorenzo. The breakfast was also very nice.

“Looks were deceiving”

As I walked up to it, I thought I'd made a mistake. It was in an old building (historic area duh!) that didn't look like much from the outside. Once inside though, my worries were gone. It looked recently renovated. A sliding glass electric door separating room sections from the elevator area was a surprisingly modern touch. Our room was small (typical in Europe) but very quiet (slept great). The location was perfect. It was an easy walk to anywhere and everywhere we wanted to go in Florence, around the corner from the Accademia, and we passed the Duomo every day. To find it if you arrive during the day when the market stalls are open, you'll need to walk on the sidewalk behind them, directly opposite the Basilica di San Lorenzo & the Medici Chapel (that's how central it is). We arrived late so that wasn't a problem for us, but finding it during the day might be. Unlike one reviewer, we felt perfectly safe, even at night, since we were in such a central location, there were always others around. I would stay there again without hesitation. It was great!

“It's a three or four star hotel”

Comfortable and well located. Not very luxurios. However, each room has refrigerator, cable and brand new AC. The dinning room is so small, you have to book in advance what time are you getting breakfast the next day.

“Value for money”

Hotel Giada lived up to our expectations. It was great value for a budget hotel. The location was fantastic to walk to all the sights within 15 minutes, and only 15 minutes walk from the train station. The staff were very helpful and spoke english, the rooms were clean and large, and the breakfast was simple but adequate. Definite value for money, we would stay again next time.

“please book this hotel..”

you will not be disappointed with this hotel - a real find in florence! Had a great room on the 1st floor at the back so no noise at all from the market located outside the hotel. And what a power shower!!! TV was fine. Good breakfast - didnt even charge me for drinks from the fridge..Very friendy staff and free internet access in reception...10/10 just a word of warning, the lift is very small and you may have a problem getting your luggage in it, apart from that, this hotel is faultless....this is the hotel i will be staying at the next time im in this fantastic city!
