“excellent centrally located hotel”

This hotel is in an excellent location for seeing all the sites in Florence. It doesn't have any facilities other than a breakfast room - which you don't ned given it's location. Staff were very helpful and all in all it was a great choice for a long weekend break.

“Great location, excellent service”

As commented by previous reviewers, this hotel is in a perfect location for walking around the city, and as it is on a pedestrian street, it is not noisy at all. My boyfriend left his mobile phone in the room when we checked out, and called and asked if they could post just the memory card back to us in London. Four days later the entire phone arrived in the post, which would have cost far more in time and effort than just posting the SIM. Very impressive service for a low season cheap 2 night stay!

“Superb hotel in shadow of the Duomo!”

Lovely close-in hotel; excellent desk hosts; it just could NOT have been better--perfect location in Florence--stay there!

“Excellent and will go again”

The hotel was excellent and in the most central and convenient position. Whilst the room was a modest size, it was clean, well decorated and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have had in a hotel, the bathroom was spacious and bright. The only downside was no kettle in the room, but unlike UK things stay open until really late so easy to get anything outside a few steps from the hotel. Staff great, polite and helpful at all times. The breakfast was good, unless you want a slap up meal. I would recommend it highly and we stayed 6 nights.

“Great Place to Stay”

Hotel was better than I expected for the price. We had a standard room so didn't have view of the Duomo, but desk clerk gave us a choice of two rooms that were available. Room was not extremely large but had two single beds pushed together, was recently remodeled (seemed almost new), very clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, bacon, other meats, fruit, bread, cereal, etc. TV in room, with two English news channels. Two blocks from Duomo, but very well centered within overall city center. Can't really come up with any fault.Had a great time - highly recommend both hotel and Florence.

“great location”

Close to everything. Clean, comfortable rooms, nicely decorated - nothing gaudy yet not too sterile. Nice, modern bathrooms. We were there on an Italian holiday and our street-side room was noisy mainly from people walking and talking on the pedestrian-only street. Breakfast was good. Staff spoke English if that is a concern.

“Perfect Location”

This hotel could not be in a better location, 100% spot on. The second you walk through the doors the hustle and bustle of the city vanishes. Our room was at the front and was very clean, modern and quiet. The staff were very attentive and gave us the room key without us asking for it. On first appearances the breakfast appears to be insufficient but when you actually go to the three stations and take your food there is plenty of choice and the quality is very good. we had two minor problems, which were both resolved immediately. One our room phone did not work and two we had no instructions on the safe. Someone came and sorted these out. Our only complaint was they could not give us an iron in the room, possibly becuase it was such an old building and they were not allowed to. 100% recommendation, cant go wrong.

“Great hotel in central Florence”

I can't say enough about the location of this hotel. We were centrally located to all the major sites in Florence. Many good restaurants within 3 blocks of the hotel. Breakfasts were the best we had in Italy. The room was extremely clean and the front desk was always attentive and helpful. 4 gelato shops right outside the door, and just steps away from the Duomo and the Uffizi. I would stay here again in a minute.
