The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The single room was a typical European room, but was very clean and stylish. However, the location couldn't be beat, it was walking distance to everything.

“Compelling blend of old and new”

The Borghese Palace Art Hotel offers a modern, artful retreat in old world Florence. The property is within easy walking distance of the Uffizi, the Piazza Della Signoria, the Duomo, and other major attractions such as the Bargello Museum and Santa Croce. The staff was helpful, the room (a junior suite) was clean and spacious, and the breakfast was surprisingly substantial.

“Art Hotel in the heart of Art, Florence”

This Hotel is brilliant. It has all the things you could want, location, quality, quality breakfast, lovely rooms. How so? Well it is about 500m from the Duomo, from the Ufizi and pretty much everything to see. The Hotel is an Art Hotel so is completed with numerous "art" features, such as plaster statues in the lobby, cherubs cast over the bed and other interesting features.......oh and the breakfast is great!

“Location, Location, Location! and a nice hotel.”

This hotel is located within walking distance to all of the major attractions, several restaurants, and shopping areas. We walked everywhere. The hotel has been nicely updated and is clean and comfortable. The bed and bath are adequately sized. Breakfast was great. The staff spoke English well and were friendly and helpful. Get a bottle of Chianti across the street and enjoy the hotel's outdoor Loggia on the third floor.

“Holiday to Remember”

We visited the hotel as a surprise birthday present for my wife and we had a wonderful time. The beauty and uniqueness of the hotel added to this special trip. This is a small, intimate place to stay which is situtaed close to the heart of the city. We were constantly delighted that we could walk easily to places of interest, shops and fine restaurants. We were particularly plased with the helpfulness of the staff, especially the desk staff who were able to help us make the most of our time in Florence.

This hotel is more like a 4 star hotel. The hotel is beautiful and the service is friendly. The front desk checked my husband and I in 3 hours early with no complaints. The location is good---close to many attractions. My only complaint was that our room had a foul oder.

“Thanks Expedia”

We didn't know where to stay for just 1 night in Florence (we took the Eurostar up from Rome for a quick trip). Just searching for "hotels" in Expedia returned over 17 pages of results. I used your "ranking" feature and found this little gem of a hotel right in the middle of everything. It was clean and quiet, with a very attentive staff. The bed was quite comfortable and the free breakfast was very good. They even offered us coffee when we arrived after breakfast and before our room was ready. A very pleasant stay.

Highly recommended,very friendly staff,great location,wash/dry location and internet place (6hrs x 5 euros)just across the street. Walking distance to major attractions. I consider myself very meticulous with cleanliness and this hotel met my expectations. Will definately stay here again. Must visit Pizzeria caffe italiano,best pizza on via isola delle stinche,around corner from hotel.

“The Perfect Hotel in Florence”

This is one of the very best hotels we stayed at in Italy. The service is great, the rooms are really nice, the decorating is very cool, it is almost a perfect location being that it is on a quiet street but it is in the middle of everything. We were in Florence for three days and loved every moment of it thanks to this hotel.
