“Location great”

Location of hotel was great, convenient to all attractions, however breakfast was disappointing.

“Great Hotel”

This hotel is literally steps away from the Duomo, very clean and spacious. The service was great and yes, the breakfast buffet view is as gorgeous as in the pictures. Would definitely stay at this hotel next time I return to Florence.

“Right in the middle”

Location could not be better for visiting Florence. As close as a hotel can get to the heart and soul of the city. Hotel is simple, no frills but very nice. Room reasonably spacious for such a location in Europe. Even though there is a lot of pedestrian traffic, the hotel was very quiet. No car traffic Has a nice terrace for breakfast and wine tasting in the evening. Recommend for Florence sightseeing.

Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, Piazzale Michelangelo, Piazza della Signoria, Fiesole.

“Great Experince!”

We loved this hotel and its central location. Walking distance to the train station, great shopping, restaurants, and all the major sights of Florence. We really enjoyed the breakfast and the terrace! The mattress was very firm, other then that we really had a great time!

“Poor hotel staff service, small rooms, good food and good wait staff service”

The people working the desk in this hotel, with the exception of one person, were rude and not friendly at all. The rooms were very small but clean. Wifi didn't work well at all. Location was alright. Close to Ancient Rome and Central core. The restaurant food was good and the staff in the Restaurant and the Cafe were very friendly and helpful. Overall the 4 of us in 2 rooms were not very impressed and would look to stay in another hotel for the same price.

“Well located”

The hotel was wonderful and the terrace for breakfast is a great way to start the day - well while the weather is good:). The hotel location allows easy access to anything on the north bank of the Arno and with a little extra walking you are onto the south bank no trouble at all. All that art/history in easy reach.

Area recommendations
Florence is very compact around the Duomo and other areas, so access to the center of Florence is easy enough to walk around especially with the main attraction areas being geared towards pedestrians.

“Convenient to major sights”

Very clean room and bathroom, short walk to the Duomo, Piazza Signoria, Santa Croce, The Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio, etc. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Florence.

Area recommendations
Near the Duomo because it is convenient to most of the attractions.
When to go
Mid to late September and all of October as it is less crowded and the weather is cooler.

“Top standard hotel in Florence”

In spite of being next to a main busy road and having a room on the front street side we did not hear a sound and slept very well. The staff were very friendly and helpful with the exception of the bar on the 6th floor which lets the hotel down - there is no atmosphere up there. Breakfast was good as far as my husband was concerned but there was not much variety for me and the rolls and bread were very hard. The location is excellent. Fifteen minutes walk from the station and five minutes to the Duomo. Would stay again and recommend to others.

“Florence, Italy”

Newly renovated and outstanding bathrooms. Roof top breakfast very nice. Helpful staff. Great location less than 1 block from the Duomo. Definitely recommend.

Area recommendations
Anywhere in Florence is fine, but close to the Duomo is easier.
