We came from Boston, 2 adults 2 kids and we had one of our best vacations. The hotel is run by an owner, Aurora, retired Italian professor. It is in fact a real castle split into several perfectly maintained apartments. The view is incredible, we can see Florence from the top of the hill. Each breakfast Aurora cooked us some local Tuscany speciality. Also she explained to us little tricks of getting around, where to park near Florence, where to do wine tasting in Chianti region (less than half an hour by car), where to go to swim at Mediterranean. At the end she even gave presents to our kids, which we never expected. We really wish we could stay longer.

"Picturesque Tuscany Dream to Watch the World go by"
This villa- bed and breakfast is exceptional. The property is more stunning than the pictures.
It truly is a home away from home. We found it very peaceful after visiting the bigger cities.
The entire staff offers exceptional service. They truly went out of their way to make our stay a splendid and memorable experience.
Rooms are spacious and immaculately clean. Gourmet kitchen for cooking!
The breakfast and dining area overlooking the Tuscany hills is worth the stay! The homemade foods, bakeries, jams and local fruits were delicious and accompanied by coffee made to your personal preference. Also, a well stocked selection of local wines for evenings in.
We appreciated green living with recyling for everything.
Take time to visit old Certaldo. You will have a wonderful experience without the crowds!
We loved our time here and hope to return.

Our stay at Duomo View B&B was amazing from the beginning. They contacted us early about preferences and arrival time and provided a clear map from the station.
Philip and Ludivicco were welcoming hosts and provided great recommendations for sightseeing & restaurants...and then there was the location and view!!! Emailing a photo made all our friends jealous!
The room was very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast, delivered to our room, was fresh baked "caffe brioche", juice, fresh fruit, toast and coffee - not our usual fare, but yum - I'm missing the croissants.
We really enjoyed our time in Firenze and it was made even better by staying at Duomo View B&B. I'll definitely return.

Loved staying here. Friendly hosts, decent breakfast, well located and felt much more like a local than staying in a normal hotel. The 2 flights of stairs felt hard work after climbing the Duomo and the Bell Tower in the same day - but then that was our fault!
I cant think of any facilities that were missing compared to a 4-star hotel and it comes with more character.
Excellent location as well.

Although this hotel looks a little out of town on the map Florence is a small enough City that everything is walking distance and the walks are never a chore due to the stunning architecture along the way.
Exceptionally friendly welcome from helpful staff.
Nothing negative to say. 10-15 min walk to city core. They screwed up our booking for last day (due to maintenance scheduling) but made it right by putting us up in a comparable place. Highly recommend

Stayed 7 nights. The room was a good size, quiet and well kept. Basically want we wanted was a good place to sleep, while being conveniently located [for a tourist] at a good price - that is exactly what we got. As a bonus we got a basic breakfast with friendly service.
The owner was a young couple that did not live onsite. This leads to a unique self serve checking in. Look for a note addressed to you taped besides the door. You will meet the owner the next day at breakfast.
