The location is great, but this is not a real hotel, it is rather an apartment turned into 4/5 separate rooms. However, when we were there it was very quiet. You have to self-serve in the kitchen for breakfast. Also, host was not there when I arrived, it was not clear on which floor the place was and I had to be on the phone with him to be able to enter the apartment and then the room. Despite this, the rooms is very clean and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is tiny.

Proprietor helpful when I reached out. Accommodation comfortable, but there were mosquitoes. A warning about opening window with those around would be helpful. A band and thronging tourists were noisy all night long, and we were late arriving due to airline losing our luggage. It was a trying first day in Italy, and this was not the fault of this accommodation. A remote innkeeper can’t offer comfort though.

We loved our stay at this property, the apartment was clean, close to everything, the self checkin was very easy, honestly only complain would be the building facilities but it is understandable because of how old is the building. Overall we loved it

i would return in a heartbeat! this place is one block from the duomo. communal kitchen was a big plus. host and his mom couldn't have been nicer. very clean and so conveniently located

Very satisfied stay.
Location is excellent but a little difficult to find at first. Bed is a little bit hard. Snacks and self service breakfast was really nice. It's noisy at night though until about 11pm due to close proximity to Duomo. So bring earplugs if you're sensitive to noise.

Fabulous position right next to the Duomo, and 10 mins walk from train station. All the main attractions are within 5mins walk. Lots of things to see and do. Loads of shops nearby. Breakfast is limited due to owner living off site. What is provided is good, but we ended up going to one of the very local cafes to get fresh take away brioche in the mornings. The ensuite bathrooms are on the small side but are very clean and tidy. Good amount of toiletries provided. Owner was there to meet us when we arrived and was very helpful, and was easily contactable if needed.

The location was great. It was a last minute booking arrived about 10 pm and owner meet us at hotel when we arrived, gave us the the key and showed us everything in the room. The room was very up to date for being an old building.

Nice hotel close to every attraction areas
This B&B is close to all the tourists attractions, shops, restaurants etc... you will never get board in that area! I will definitely stay there again.

First time at Florence
B&B in the very centre of Florence, could not ask for a better location. The sheer excellence of location (around the corner from the Duomo) meant it was a bit noisy sometimes but the rooms were comfortable and decent sized. Simple breakfast was also served daily. Good value for money.

Convenient but very noisy.
Perfectly nice B&B right in the city centre, literally walk out and you are in the main tourist area. Being so centrally located however it is extremely noisy (with street noise), and so i barely got any sleep for the 3 days we were there. Also check in needs to be arranged before you go as the owner doesn't live there. Breakfast is provided by the cafe opposite in which you get a cup of coffee and a croissant.

Prime location and great for a family of up to 8!!
We loved how there were rooms that all shared a common area, as we had 3 different couples traveling together. It was great to have an area that everyone could congregate in the morning and evening, but then the privacy of your own room in the event you needed some downtime. The location was absolutely perfect too, as the Duomo is just around the corner. The manager and housekeeper are extremely nice and super helpful as well. Breakfast leaves a little bit to be desired, but that pales in comparison to all the other outstanding amenities!

Great B&B in the heart of Florence
We loved our stay at B&B Manifico Messere! The location can't be beat...the Doumo is literally around the corner (and you can see it from your room!) The owner of the place, Lorenzo, was very helpful and friendly. The room was large and clean. The common room down the hall was stocked with drinks and snacks which was very helpful after a long day or early in the morning. The wifi was good and the AC worked well. We had a great stay!

Great service and even greater location!
Great service and great location! Just down the street from the Duomo and about a 15-20 minute walk to all other main attractions! A traditional Italian breakfast is included at a cafe around the corner and a full kitchen is available for use! Highly recommend!

Clean and a decent price for Duomo area, but noisy
The staff was welcoming and the room was clean and comfortable. The major problem was noise. There was a lot of noise from the street on two of the three nights we stayed there (noise from nearby bars until midnight one night and even later, maybe 2 or 3 am the next)-- if this is likely to keep you awake at night -- book somewhere else. Also, there is a shared lounge area and on one morning, other travelers were there and were very noisy, with no care or awareness that other rooms might be connected - this was unpleasant.

In the centre of lovely Florence.
Ideal location, right next to the Piazza del Duomo, a block from Piazza Della Republica, surrounded by upscale shops, good cafes and restaurants. This B&B makes one feel like a resident of uptown Firenze. You can do most of the top sites in Florence, simply by walking ten or fifteen minutes. There is a nice common area (cucina), where guests can enjoy complimentary tea, coffee, drinks and pastries for breakfast or snacks. Rooms are modern, clean, and all have private bathrooms.

Experience was good although the host, Roberto, couldn't speak English. But we managed just fine with hand gestures and stuff. Very good location, all the attractions were within walk.

Good option, excellent location, friendly staff.
Everything was good, except for the check in... is a little bit complicated if you get after the check in hours, you have to reach the people by email or phone (and it's also difficult), so they come and get you in to the room. We waited 3 hours.

Just what we wanted
Great location less than a block from the Duomo. Lorenzo, the owner was very helpful and friendly and was available by phone if we had any questions or concerns. We were pleasantly surprised by the access to the common area, where they had a full kitchen for our use and a fridge stocked with juice and water. He even showed us how to make italian coffee on the stove if we wanted to. The room is part of an apartment that Lorenzo remodeled in 2008, so all of the fixtures and furnishings are new within this established apartment building. We felt like locals!
