“Great hotel for the money”

Terrific hotel. Fantastic location. Can not say enough about the staff, they were outstanding...could not have been more helpful. Rooms are not luxurious, but the location and great service make up for it.

“above and beyond the call of duty!!”

I read the reviews about the Albergotto and the stairs were always mentioned. Don''t let that stop you!!The Hotel and staff more than make up for the stairs. We were there for 4 GREAT days and the breakfast was delicious, the room wonderful and staff perfect.. But the last day, Florence had an unusual snowstorm and Simone couldn't find a taxi to take us to the airport. The porter dragged our luggage to the train and bus station in hopes of us taking the bus to the airport. And, waited for half an hour trying to hail a cab for us! We sent him back to the hotel and tried ourselves. Finally, we got a cab and got to the airport. Then, the flights were all cancelled. It was a bizzard that stopped Florence for 2 days. The airline put us up in a hotel, no Albergotto, and the next day we called Simone to find a private taxi driver to get us to the airport. She sent their Roberto and he came in bad conditions and took us to the airport,. When I say above and beyond the call of duty, I mean it!!!Their staff in the best and we travel alot.. Can't wait to return!!!!!

“Great Location”

I was very pleased with the location of the hotel. It was a 5-10 minute walk to the Duomo, train station and river. Everything was close. The hotel was very pleasant and I was very satisfied. There was a nice continental breakfast. The only issue to consider about the hotel is that you will have to walk up a flight of stairs to reach the first floor of the hotel. There is someone available to bring your luggage up the stairs.

“loved it”

We loved the location - within walking distance of everything and also very close to the train station. Area was busy all the time but the hotel and room was very quiet. Room was a good size. Staff very helpful. Breakfast was good - enough for a good start to the day. Finally had a mini fridge in the room which was great. Would definitely stay there again.

“A central hotel with, comfortable and with no fuss!”

A good hotel. Some stairs to limb before the lift, so good to be fairly fit! Wonderful location, and good air conditioning means that the windows (which can be opened) can remain closed. Clean linen and rooms, helpful at the desk and a good, simple breakfast buffet. Excellent base.

“Lovely Hotel in Florence”

This hotel is in a great location right near all the sights. The staff are are really friendly and helpful. My room was pleasant with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a good choice of continental style cuisine. I would stay here again if visiting Florence.

“Absolute Gem!”

What a fantastic find! My stay at the Albergotto couldn't have been better. The hotel couldn't be more perfectly located...in a charming historic building on swanky Via Tournabuoni in the heart of Florence. Though its central location might imply noise and disruption, it's actually quite quiet and secluded. Much to my relief, I found the Albergotto's ambience to be that of a boutique hotel. Its size is appealing and manageable and the staff was super helpful and courteous. An ample breakfast, which was included, was a very appreciated feature. If you're looking for a well-run hotel, a great value, near the Duomo, with fantastic sightseeing and shopping literally right outside the door, give the Albergotto serious consideration. I will DEFNITELY return on my next trip to Florence.
