Hotel has shuttle morning and evening for BRU airport. Room very large with desk, refrigerator, coffee maker. Very light and clean. Large tv with 24 hr news cable ...not always available at hotels in Belgium. The downside is that the website directions are not well written to help visitors map transport via train system from Gare Centralle in downtown Brussels. It is only about half mile from Diagem station on the Leuven train line from downtown. It took an extraordinary amount of time speaking to train and metro staff to map our way there. Better directions required from website.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with a full range of both traditional fried items and continental breakfast items. My sister is a celiac and wheat free bread was provided every morning. When we needed a taxi, the staff responded immediately, even when they were very busy with others checking out. I forgot to print out the boarding passes for coming home and they were able to do this for us. I can't praise the staff highly enough and will stay here again when I visit Leuven. I will also be recommending the hotel to any of my friends who are visiting the area. We had a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
The hotel offered a great room at a reasonable price, although far from Brussels. Comfortable with excellent amenities. We stayed here the night before our flight home after a busy three week whirlwind vacation and it provided the comfort and needed rest in preparation for a long flight.
