“Late booking”

We booked this hotel late for a Nau graduation. It is not a hotel I would generally stay at but was surprisingly a nice stay. Except for the fact that the train was on one side of the hotel and the interstate on the other it was an enjoyable stay.

“ok for tourist night stay”

ok to stay at night while seeing the area sights, not a five star hotel that you wish to spend time in!

“Not the best but good enough”

The price is reasonable and rooms are clean. but the location is not a good one for GPS to find.

“Too Close and Hot!!!!!!”

Room was OK and the staff was good, but it was too close to the Interstate and because of the old style heater the room was either hot or cold.

“Not the first time, I've said never again to Super 8”

But it is the last. We stayed at a Super 8 in Moab a few years ago and the paper thin walls were so bad we had to haul the mattress off the bed to the floor in the "Suite" living room, and still didn't get any sleep. This place had doors with extremely questionable locks, the floors were filthy, the towels wouldn't make good shop rags, the breakfast was meager and the morning staff negligent. We had to fix the cable to get any TV. I will say that the bed was fine and by pure luck the place quieted down pretty well, but since we heard everything that went on in the parking lot earlier, this was just pure luck.

“Comfortable but an aging property”

We had a comfortable stay. Parking is minimal. Food was ok. The checkin/out staff was very polite, but not outgoing individuals. Our room maids were fairly thorough. Very convenient location, just of f the 40 freeway. We felt safe in this location (lots of other motels around us.) Great Restaurants adjacent to this motel (very easy walking distance.) We would consider the size of our to be Medium-large (seperate seating area with couch, and King size bed) This motel is starting to show its age, and should probably be updated. The requirement for maintenance and updating is starting to become rather evident.

“Never, ever again!”

I will make this real simple. We hear passing trains and car alarms ALL NIGHT LONG!!! I could not get an extra pillow from the front desk so I had to find a local Wal-Mart to buy one. And I could not get directions from the hotel to Lowell Observatory; a 15 minute drive from the hotel.

“Price is not right for the quality of the hotel”

Since the rating was quite high, I expected more. I should say the price was little too high for the rooms that they have.
