“Would very much like to come back - if the railway would stop hooting during night”

The hotel is very good but the railway are making a terrible noise, by hooting at the level crossing exactly opposite the hotel, nearly every 2 hours around the clock. You miss your sleep. When the trains did not hoot I would recommend the hotel to everyone.

“Delivers the goods”

The Luxury Inn in Flagstaff is a great place to spend the night. It was a clean, no-frills place. There was a clean bed, towels and clean bathrooms. The hotel is close to places to eat and right on Route 66, about 2-3 miles from downtown. For the price, a great place to stay.

“Fair for the price you pay”

The Luxury Inn isn't a luxurious hotel. It's a motel with a hotel label, it's very simple , but clean and organized. The lady who received us in the check-in room was nice and polite, even gave us some breakfast recommendations as we requested. The shower is hot, the bed is hotel bed, you know the same bed and sheets in all hotels. And about the train noise, my friend and I were so exhausted from all the Grand Canyon activities that we didn't hear a pee. If you are a light sleeper don't book any hotel along the route 66, no matter how luxurious is your hotel, the train whistle won't stop just because you paid more. The experience was fine for me, I wanted a bed and a hot shower after all the fun and sporty activities in the Grand Canyon area. If you are looking for fancy hotels stay on the Grand Canyon Village and pay the extra bucks for it.

“We liked it”

I would recommend this hotel due to the friendliness and service of the staff and the cleanliness of the rooms. The staff was very helpful in giving us directions and recommending places to eat. They accommodated us when we had last minute changes. The rooms were very clean and looked like they had been recently renovated. The only downside to the hotel was that the beds were quite hard. However, I've been in more expensive hotels with equally hard beds.

“good place to stay for one night on a budget”

no curtain on the bathroom window which meant a unexpected wake up call at 530 am,we stayed in the back row and the trains are still a little noisey, but if you take a drive through flagstaff all of the hotels are pretty close to the tracks good place to stay for one night on a budget

“I would return.”

The room was a perfect match for the price.I didn't want to pay for things I didn't want. Nothing fancy but well cleaned and maintained. The train bothered my husband but not me at all and I'm a fairly light sleeper. I was pleased.

“Good hotel within budget”

Room was very clean. Lot of people complains about train. But you can still sleep, if you are tired. Actually, the train sound was not that serious as I thought early by reading previous reviews. It is more than a perfect place to stay a night or two within small budget.

“Good for one night stay....”

This hotel was not bad, it was very plain, small tv. Not very cozy. The doors were regular keys, not the cards, which I thought was odd. It was fine for a one night stay but I probably would not stay for longer. Plus, there was a small window in the back of the room that had no curtain on it! When I looked out back there was a hill but I still thought it was kind of scary not having a curtain over the window. For the price though, it was super close to snowbowl and was quiet.
