“What a Bargain!”
The manager of the restaurant next door (Granny's Closet - GREAT FOOD!) said the Knight's Inn is under new management and was just totally remodeled. The carpets were new and clean, the floor tile was new and shined like glass, no patches or dings anywhere. We took our own bedding, but after seeing the condition of the room, we didn't use it.
“Cheap spot top service”
Pay attention, there are two knights inn motels in Flagstaff Arizona. One is located on the eastern entrance to town, on HWY 66, the other closer to 'downtown' on the west of Flagstaff (224 Mikes Pike). Those are 2 entirely different motels. One is a a highway motel directed for truckers (HWY 66) the other has a very welcoming staff, clean rooms, though on the small side and generally speaking fits very well for Grand Canyon trip if you want to save money by driving ~60 min off site.
“Central location in Flagstaff”
All in all not bad for the price. Good location. Didn't interact with the staffmuch but they were friendly enough. OK it's not the Ritz but it'll do.
“Good Cheap Hotel”
Good clean rooms. Comfortable bed and not too much noise from the railroad. 24 hour convenience store next door. The drawbacks are they have the smallest towels I have ever seen in a hotel, probably so no one will pinch them.
“Comfortable”
For what I payed I didn't expect much and the room was pretty decent. We had a very comfortable stay and will return.
“You got what you pay for”
The sign of the hotel is not as easy to spot and it is located right at an intersection. This inn looks more like a motel got renovated into an inn. The inside of the hotel is OK with tiles in the bathroom and vanity is not located in the bathrom, which gives some convenience if you have more than 1 traveler staying. The beddings are a kind of old but looks clean. The TV is not working right, possibly with an old tube therefore can't display the right color.
“Great Rates”
The room was small but clean. No musty or smokey smells. I would use this hotel agian.
“Great location, not great motel”
The price was right, which was why I booked here. The website promised a noon check-in time, so I was displeased when I tried to check in at one pm, and was told I couldn't check in until 3. The website also promised a microwave and mini-fridge, neither of which were in my room. The room smelled stale, and while it was tidy, it didn't seem sanitized. I was grateful to be close to the local restaurants and attractions, but was truly grateful I was only there for one night. I think this place would be suitable if you just need a place to crash for the evening, not for a prolonged stay.
“Fine for one night or two.”
A few miles from the main highway 40. Windows need replacing. They were all wet inside from the condensation. Light over the sink area was very dim. No one at the desk in the morning to drop off the key to. Continental style breakfast was fine. Otherwise, quiet, comfortable beds too.
“Our stay at Knight's Inn”
It was a good motel to stay at for our travels. We did not get there until 2:00a.m. They waited up for us to let us in. They were not happy though. We had reserved a double bed non-smoking room. We got a smoked in kingsize bed. They said I only had two people. My reservation clearly stated four. They did change us the next day to a double bed. We felt a little rushed out of the room because we had to get our stuff out by 11:00a.m. so their staff could clean our old room. We had to wait a few hours to get into the new room. The old room had a nicer remodeled bathroom. The new room had a creepy needing to be remodeled bathroom. The continental breakfast was okay. It did not have cereal or milk. I was greatful for it though. I would stay there again. I would also tell my friends to stay there. It was not bad for what we paid for it. It got us to the Grand Canyon.
