“A good hotel and a great barging price”
Very easy check in process. Guy at the front desk is very friendly. Parking is very convenient to the rooms. Good Wifi reception in the room (stayed in one of the front rooms by the office). Easy to find, and right on the main road through town. Expedia lists this as one and a half star, but it was a lot better than I expected. A no frills room with no extras, but a great price. Room has a TV, mini fridge, but no coffee. My thought though is why pay $20 - $40 more a night for a room that has a coffee machine, when I can get a great coffee down the street for a lot less. Flagstaff has a lot of great breakfast and coffee places anyway, and I recommend Brandy’s Restaurant & Bakery about a mile from the hotel on West & Cedar. This is the second time I’ve stayed here, and I’ll come again.
“Great Stay(Enjoyed)”
As part of a family trip during spring break to see the Grand Canyon we decided to stay in Flagstaff. This was my first stay at a Knights Inn and I was surprised and impressed with everything during our stay. The hotel is in a great location with a great number of restaurants and shopping really close from the hotel. The Grand Canyon was also a short 1.5 hour drive with a nice scenic route. The Breakfast was also okay for the price I paid can't ask for anything more.I would recommend this hotel if staying in Flagstaff and look forward to trying Knights Inns in other cities.
“Not Bad For The Price”
Not bad for the price.
“Great Motel for the Price”
I'm not sure why this motel has received bad reviews. I travel to Flagstaff about 7 weekends over the past three summers and have stayed in a different motel every time and I think this one is by far the best for the money. We stayed in a non-smoking room and there was NO smell of smoke, the comforter's were not worn and dated, but quite nice. There was plenty of towels when we asked for more and the guy checking us in was both nice and quick. When we travel for personal vacations we stay in top notch hotels and resorts, but for business ECONOMY travel, it's good. I don't care about continental breakfasts or closets. I care about cleanliness, quick service, quiet atmosphere and fast wifi, which it had. I'll be staying there again.
“Basic clean motel”
Room was clean and tidy. Bring your own clock however as it didn't have one!
“Non-smoking room smells stale”
The room and hotel was just acceptable. We asked for a non-smoking room, which I think we received, but the room smelled stale and had a low-level smell of cigarettes. The bedspreads and blankets had cigarette burns and the carpet had nicotine stains. The room had obviously been recently converted to non-smoking. It was clear that going cheap was not a good idea in this case. I will not return to this hotel.
“Not impressed”
The hotel is very near the flagstaff main RR line and is noisy, The air conditioning is noisy and the window did not have a lock. The price was cheap enought and for the one night we stayed it was adequate. Dont count on the continental breakfast unless you sleep in. We were on the road at 6am and the office was bare.
“definitely no thrills motel”
no extras. management seemed good. hotel old. curtains barely hung. hard to control hot water in shower.
“Not the best hotel in this area.”
Check in lady was VERY rude and unhelpful. There is no ice machine, they gave us ice in a small zip lock bag.
“Not Impressed”
It was a cheap place to stay is all I can say. Hotel was run down and old. No ice or amenities. No way would I go again!
