Club Quarters was absolutely awesome!!! This hotel is the cheapest you're going to find in the financial district while still being a four star hotel. The rooms are great, the pillows are to die for, the lobby area is perfect to get work done (free printing and snacks included!), they have a new restaurant downstairs, and it's walking distance from just about anything! There is a Starbucks next-door, a Pete's Coffee across the street, and a multitude of great restaurants all within just a few blocks of the hotel. Room service offers delivery from several different restaurants in the area if you don't feel like leaving your room. The Ferry Building Market place is just a 10 minute walk down the street and the BART is 6-7 min walk down the street! Aside from all of this, this was an amazing stay thanks to a guy at the front desk named Victor; Victor was absolutely AWESOME! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and a personality that really brightened up my day. Victor was always a great source of information and even randomly brought some extra pillows to my room on my second night because he knew how much I loved them! THANK YOU VICTOR! To anyone looking to have an absolutely stress-free and delightful stay in downtown SF, make a reservation at Club Quarters.
Hotel staff was great. Elmer at check in was very courteous and helpful.
The view of bay was FANTASTIC from our room.
The conceirge was extremely helpful in getting us around and recommendations for places to eat, were top notch.
Dotties for breakfast was fabulous(You have to try the pancakes) and Tony's Pizza(1570 Stockton) was to die for.
The only drawback was the hotel restaurant did not serve coffee in the evening, which we found strange.
The upfront bar was not open very often.
We were there for four days in May. For my kids and me it was the perfect location. Everything was nearby, we walked everywhere. It was a little noisy outside but that didn't bother us, sharing the bathroom was also ok it was always clean. The staff was nice and informative. I really recommend it especially for the price. Thank you.
I found this hostel a perfect stay for single travelers who enjoy independence and self reliance. Accommodation is adequate and atmosphere is relaxed. Daily free breakfast and every other day free dinner add to an almost college dormitory like experience. Overall, it was a delightful and pleasant stay.
I was here on business for a week. The Hotel is situated 4 blocks from the trans america building and at the edge of Chinatown. The other side of the street is little italy. The hotel is quiet and is well taken care of. The beds are a little hard. The only downside is that one block away is the heart of the strip clubs/ gentlemen s clubs. If you are into that then it won't bother you. You can walk different paths to avoid it. Fisherman's Wharf is a 20 min walk thru little italy. Lots of good restaurants around.

Pocket Guide: San Francisco Financial District - Ferry Building Hotels
The bulls and bears of industry tread the streets of the Financial District, home to the city’s tallest buildings, including the iconic Transmerica Pyramid. The towers give way to The Embarcadero, the broad, palm-lined avenue that begins at the San Francisco Giant’s AT&T Park and ends at Fisherman’s Wharf. The road passes by the Ferry Building, a landmark transformed into an artisanal food market.
