ok. fairly basic but price is low so i guess you get what you pay for. 2 things i think could be improved - shower leaked over bathroom floor and restaurant was closed at 9pm even though it states its open til 9.30

The conditions of the hotel and room were indeed very poor and they do not seem to care about it. Breakfast was the worse seen in the past 20 years of travelling!

Love to take advantage of stranded travelers
We chose this hotel for an overnight stay in Filicudi to explore the island. The morning we were supposed to catch a ferry back to Sicily we checked out and went for a hike. We had lunch when we returned and there was a ferry loading. Unfortunately we didn't realize it was the last ferry of the day because all of the others had been cancelled. The island is extremely small and the hotel staff knew the ferries had been cancelled. They intentionally withheld the information from us. We ended up having to stay an extra 2 nights between food and lodging it became very expensive. They also told us that we could wash laundry but then wanted to charge us an outrageous sum of money. Overall, I would not recommend going to this hotel. In addition to everything else, the bathroom was extremely small and cramped, the room had ants and we were woken up in the night by a rodent scurrying around.

La struttura è molto bella. Grande sala colazione, balcone in camera... vicinanza al porto. Cielo stellato sopra la testa tutte le sere grazie all'inesistente contaminazione luminosa. Vicina a due comode mulattiere per esplorare tutta l'isola. La prima vi porta in circa mezz'oretta di camminata al villaggio preistorico. La seconda vi porta a Pecorini mare in circa un'oretta e mezza di cammino. C'è la spiaggia sotto l'albergo. Insomma il posto è incantevole.

Hotel con ottima posizione con veduta sul mare. Hotel trascurato che necessita di una ristrutturazione. Check-in poco professionale. Lenzuolo del letto strappato. Poco personale per la pulizia delle stanze. Al tavolo del buffet della colazione mancava di tutto , abbiamo dovuto chiedere al cameriere di portarci cornetto e yogurt. Da non tornare

Il peggiore hotel che abbia mai visto! Camere rumorosissime a causa dei filtri aspiranti della cucina e degli schiamazzi del personale adetto fino a oltre la mezzanotte. Odore di fritto in camera dalla mattina alla tarda sera, il tutto amplificato dalla mancanza di aria, poiché la finestra affacciava di fronte a un muro altissimo. Lamentele continue da parte di altri clienti, una sera sfociate in urla a causa dei continui disservizi dell' hotel, sistemazione di stanze con trasporto mobili, armadi, letti, comodino a tarda sera, per soluzioni dell' ultimo momento, letto sporco all' arrivo, cameriera che apre la porta con la sua chiave alle ore 20 per pulire la stanza, mentre noi eravamo distesi sul letto, nonostante il cartello " non disturbare". La spiaggia privata è un' area fetida e puzzolente di urina con 4 ombrelloni strappati...Tralascio piccoli dettagli quali luci al neon sempre accese in corridoio, doccia impraticabile a causa di una tenda di plastica corta che non scherma l'acqua, maniglie di plastica, personale da rieducare. Nulla a norma! Mi sono chiesta come è possibile che sia ancora aperto e che non ci siano controlli!

Un paradiso perduto dove tornare ad esperienze sensoriali ormai dimenticate nell’ordinario vivere urbano. Il tutto con la presenza di Tamara, Valentino e tutto lo staff che garantiscono un’accoglienza famigliare ed una ristorazione che non ha nulla da invidiare ad un ristorante stellato . Andata all’Hotel Phenicusa non ve ne pentirete !
