“Perfect budget resort”
Nice
“2nd visit would go back again thankyou”
Enjoyed every moment of the holiday and would recomend it to anyone who would like to also experience the cultural side of Fiji excellent dinners and show full of entertainment.
“Beauitful fiji”
The hotel is good for snokeling however we did find it a bit noise, the bed squeet very time you turned and other people when closing the doors slaped which was frustrating when trying to sleep. Mini Golf cousre needed maintaning. Did ask for anothter room but reception was not so helpful. We did say at here in 2008 with no problems at all we did have the ground floor and it was very quiet and beds were good too. staff was really friendly mainly the housemaids and resteraunt staff. Not to sure if i would stay there again.
“Secluded Paradise”
We stayed at Warwick recently and found the holiday experience immensely enjoyable. The resort looked exactly like what it is on the website/brochures. The beach has pristine clear blue waters and is clean. The resort is very suitable for families and friends who wants to come here and relax or do nothing. Due to the secluded location of the resort, guests staying here have the privacy of the whole resort to themselves. However, this also means that there is nothing else nearby for you to venture out on your own. Bewarned, that food is all in the AUD levels. So if you are staying here for more than 5 days consider taking the all meals package otherwise it is going to be an expensive trip as there is no other place to eat in the nearby vicinity. Overall, food in the 5 restaurants are OK. The beach of the resort is beautiful, however not much coral left to see if snorkelling is your thing. Port Denarau is 2 hrs away so prepare to travel if you want to do island day trips etc. Otherwise consider alternative resorts. Recommendations of day trips near to Warwick - Cave Tour and Inland Waterfall/Village Tour. Experience the real Fijian culture with these! You will not regret this. Overall, a very good stay and memorable holiday. A+
“Only great if you have kids”
Stayed here for our honeymoon, beautiful hotel but too many kids not very romantic and expensive restaurants, nice food though. 2 hours by bus from the airport.
“Depends on what you pay...”
We got a great deal for this hotel through Expedia therefore we weren't disappointed. However if you pay full price and expect a 5 star property then you would be upset, as I would never rate this as 5 star. The grounds and setting are beautiful and the rooms are nice, but I think there are a few maintenance issues with the hotel. We changed rooms because the first one had a very damp smell and a leak in the bathroom ceiling. The second one was better but after a few days it also developed a leak in the bathroom ceiling! Apparently caused by the air conditioning. I also saw a lot of cockroaches in the hallway one morning. Our view might be slightly tainted by the fact that it rained for most of our 7 stay day! We found the staff friendly. The food is very expensive for the quality. In summary I would only recommend this hotel if you get a good price and you go with your eyes open.
“5 star Resort- What a Joke - Its a dump - NEVER AGAIN”
Upon arrival from Nadi airport - a 3 hour bus trip, check in took 3/4's of an hour PLUS t more attempts to get it right. I booked our room months in advance and was given something totally different - Not good enough. We were promised a number of "complimentary" items - NON-EXISTANT. Warwick is rated as a 5 star resort. They cannnot guarentee the water is safe to drink and the only alternative offered is to purchase bottled water from the mini bar at highly inflated prices or from any bar around the resort. Unfortunately none of the bars opened until 10am so no water available until then. Staff need to shower and pay more attention to personal hygine. Some smell of body odour. Not nice when dealing with food and beverages. They so-called breakfast buffet was obviously cooke hours or day before and was stone cold. I told one of the "chefs" who chose to ignore this fact. Cats and birds wander through food areas unchallenged by staff. Overcharging and double charging guests is common - CHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE PAYING. Do yourselves a favour - GO ELSEWHERE. We spoke to other guests who were equally unhappy with the lack of service and lack of standards and food quality.
“Fabulous resort , staff and location BUT”
The Warwick truly is a top class resort. Very well appointed, terrific friendly staff, great location even though it is a 1 and a half drive from Nadi airport. The buffet meals were disappointing and a tad expensive. The Sunday roast at dinner was great and so is the breakfast selection. Now, the big BUT. All the propaganda lead us to believe that the more expensive rooms in the Suava wing were for couples and honeymooners. Not so. The pool and area was inundated by unsupervised, yelling, running, pool bombing kids. Very dissappointing. Suggest booking a room away from the ocean views and pool areas. Otherwise, wow what a place to relax.
“Friendly relaxing Resort”
Friendly resort with greetings of Bula wherever you go. Friendly staff. Great surroundings with no need to leave the resort if you don't need to. Onsite restaurants - everything you'd want to eat. Entertainment + activities. Hot ppool is great for a dip after the beach/pool. Spa great options - with massages. Went back twice. Have a regular night-time bed turndown service, as well as daily cleaning of rooms. Only downer is variability with provision of towels (i.e. new pool towels) occasionally requiring calls to housekeeping, but eventually sorted out. Overall great experience.
“HUGE WASPS IN ROOM!!”
We were not able to go on our room balcony because of gigantic wasps. Now while that may be expected on an island, it is NOT acceptable that their room balcony doors DO NOT tighly seal off, rather there are big gaps that allow pests into your room including those HUGH WASPS. My wife is allergic to bees so you can imagine the time we had. Worst hotel experience ever and an expensive one at that. On a lighter note i have never met more friendly people in the world. The Fijian are AWESOME and i might consider going back (different hotel of course) soley for the people and their culture.
