“Great Hotel”

We have had 12 nights at the Sofitel and it was great really friendly people in Fiji , very easy to walk to harbour for evening meals only 10 mins walk and alot cheaper than hotel food, salt rest at hotel was very good alot better than the buffet, great people great staff, easy to get to other island for a day trip.

“Sofitel the best resort in Denarau”

Would definately recommend this resort and hope to return. Of the resorts, it had the better pool, and the staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The service to the rooms couldn't be faulted. Breeze Bar had a great atmosphere on the nights that the band was playing (Thurs-Sun), worth lounging about here and having a few cocktails and a dance.Was happy with the food we had at the Sofitel, albeit only 1 dinner and a couple of lunches. Only had the buffett breakfast once, didn't rate it although everyone else seemed to love it. As per the other reviews, better value can be achieved for dinner at the Marina, only a 15 min walk. The rest of the nights, we went down to the Marina to Cardo's for the Seafood platter, the best value and delicious meal by far.

“sofitel the best hotel on the island”

having been to fiji many years ago we noticed a big change. our accomadation was first class the staff very friendly and happy. and always happy to help with information to make our stay enjoyable. our trips to mala mala and beachcomber islands most enjoyable and looked after very well especially massage on mala mala island. if you are thinking of taking a holiday, do consider fiji and stay at the sofitel you wont be sorry.

“expensive but worth it!”

we had no complaints with this hotel. the people and service was fantastic. prices at the resort are very high but would prefer to pay more than have to travel into Nadi for something cheaper! Highly recommended!

“Fabulous hotel for a terrific price.”

My only complaints about the room was the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor and there was some grout scum/mould stains in the shower. The room service was not consistant. On the first night I had my bed turned down, but not the following 4 nights. Coffee mugs were only changed once or twice, and the bins were not emptied on a few days. However, these are small things and didn't affect my overall experience.

“Great place, very friendly”

Loved the Sofitel, being on my own, the staff were very friendly,especially at the salt bar. This was a great place to relax by the pool, thought the beach would be better but pool was great. Good entertainment, with the fire lighting displays, the dancers etc. something for everyone. Very family orientated, thought there would be more nightlife but didnt go on a weekend so it could be different then. If you want to party I would go somewhere else. Honestly couldnt get a more friendly place to go and stay at. Beautiful grounds.

“Nice hotel, very convenience”

We had a great holidays, staff in Sofitel were really helpfull and friendly. Hotel is in very good condition, clean. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

“Great Hotel, Great Comfort!”

Overall, stay was excellent. Beds are EXTREMELY comfortable, breakfast is good, staff very nice. Only complaint is the gym: small and no mirrors. If a few people are in the gym, it's okay, but over 4 and there is no room to workout!
